Sounds about right, when I asked Mike Rosales about it when he was in KC and he said it was a matter of getting caught up with regular production before they started on this. Add to that the Firecracker they are doing for 2 Guys and it could push these out even further.

The one glimmer of hope is that they posted a Neanderthal lancero on Instagram recently.
 
It sounded like sourcing the San Andres for the wrapper has become difficult currently and has resulted in significant production delays.
 
Just a heads up- Smallbatch has the Padron 50th Hammer 2-pack, 1 natural and 1 maduro for $80. Still crazy expensive, but about as cheap as you'll find them. They didn't send an email letting everyone know, so they may last more than 5 minutes, lol.
 
I love the Neanderthal too, but the upcoming Htown Lancero is the one to line up outside the door for. It's the Herrera Esteli TAA blend in a Lancero!!

Btw, those Padron hammers are not on sale or anything. $40 is msrp for the hammer humi refills. But yes, much better price and they sure are more worth it at that price than $100.

Have you heard anything about them that could be considered intriguing? What I've read another those wasn't overly flattering but I can't remember where it was. Let me check as I might have one to send to you if you want to try it.

I think they are the bee's knees but what do I know. Halfwheel gave them a 94 making them one of the top rated cigars of the year. Certainly worth trying if you haven't done so yet. http://halfwheel.com/la-flor-dominicana-la-nox/97966

I've read a few people on here and the CP page on FB mention they really enjoyed them. I've always enjoyed most LFD offerings, so something this unique from them just has me curious.

Yeah, the individual components in that stick sound really interesting. I'm really warming up to that line, especially the BA's.

I joined the 2 Guys mailing list just to keep tabs on the upcoming Cromagnon Firecrackers....because you can't consider yourself a truly shameless Roma whore without doing that.

Whoever wants to be king of Roma Whore Mountain can find a German retailer and get some of those new Wunderlust smokes.
 
I'm planning on getting a box of Wunderlust when I'm in Germany in August. I think the wedding is near one vendor listed on RoMa's site. I'll split it with you if you want.

I feel so out of touch with any new releases lately! Guess thats what having a kid does to ya. Fun reading through this thread.
 
At the end of a Halfwheel article about the Neanderthal SGP becoming a regular production stick, it mentioned that the Neanderthal OM Lancero was "expected to debut next month". The Stogies special H-Town lanceros don't seem to sell out quite as quickly as some limited editions, but I definitely won't drag my feet on these. I rarely buy 2 or 3 of any box at one time sight unseen, but the Neanderthals should last a good long time in the humidor and I pretty much trust Skip and team with just about anything they produce.
 
I'll try not to inundate with too much trade show content, but I snapped a pic of the new 25ct Skinny Monster boxes earlier today. What a nightmare for OCD collectors/completionists, huh? I think they are pretty cool looking.
