What did you smoke today

It's been a good week, indeed!

July 4th I smoked a delicious Opus X Petit Lancero (the best Opus I have ever smoked).

July 5th was a 2000 Montecristo Millennium Robusto and a Taboada Bolivar Sublime rolled fresh and passed directly into my paws by Senor Taboada himself.

Yesterday was a nice El Rey del Mundo PC from '98

Today... ??? I'll have to find something good to celebrate the World Cup finish :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
 
I tossed several in the mix this weekend. A couple of LDF Chisel Maduros, LDF Chiselito, Tatuaje Cojonou 2003, Oneoff Laguito 2, Anejo #49, HdM Epi. 2, Mag 46, and last but not least a La Aurora 100 Anos. The best part was that I got to hand out as many as I was able to smoke. Everyone sat down at the river, smoked cigars, watched the power boat races, and enjoyed the weekend.
 
Humble smoking night tonight. I had a Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixote while watering the flowers. The stick came from a box with about 9 months on it and I think the cigars might have peaked. The flavor was much softer and the texture was quite a bit smoother overall. Not bad, just significantly different from a fresh specimen.

I just lit up a RP Vintage 1990. It has been sitting in my humidor for 3 months now. I lit that bastard up and it was just nasty. I don't know what happened. I gave it a pretty good rating right out of the cello. Anyways, it's sitting outside with only a few puffs taken off of it, and now I can't decide what to do. I have to let the shock settle. Maybe my taste buds are shot! :angry:

Quite honestly, it tasted like a Marlboro!
 
After a supper of little necks in a red sauce with linguini, made by yours truly, I had a Padilla Miami 8/11 corona. :love: I feel sorry for you wasps. :laugh:

Nothing to do - you hit and you miss, this was a miss. Toss
the sucker and torch up another to enjoy the evening.

About to fire up my first Opus X Perfecxion X. Thanks to Strayvector's generous offer he did for the board. :thumbs: Will edit later to say how I felt about it.

Maduro with a glass of raspberry iced tea.

Finally got around to smoking my first Hemingway Short Story last night, which I had picked up a week ago. Sat on the back porch with my wife, and it was VERY nice...
 
Sunday night I had a La Gloria Cubana, Figurado Reserva. Wow I have had one of these when I first got them and was not impressed, what a difference almost a year will make.

Last night had a personal favorite Trinidad, Coloniales, the draw was a little tight but the flavors did not dissapoint.

Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Maduro Belicoso fresh from the box.
It was noticebly darker than the 5'r of maduro's I grabbed last week and I noticed the maduro comeing off on my fingers and lips.I am a lil dissappointed in RP doing artifical maduros.These are the ones that fade after a couple months in the humidor.

5 vegas A with coffe this morning

Had a HDM E No 2 on the drive up, very pleasant through the nose!

I had some burn problems and my lighter was acting up so I just went with it. At one point I hit some traffic and used a match to correct the burn, it worked out pretty well ;)
