Friday:

Padilla 1932 lancero - really good cigar, one of the few small ring guage cigars I've liked

Carlos Torano Noventa Latin - good medium bodied cigar, although they retail for too much and I should have smoked it before the 1932 as it wasn't as strong>

Today:

Still to be determined

D

You got to try the Oliva V Lancero

It's funny you should mention that. At the shop that night, I bought one to see if it was as good as everyone said. I've liked the series V so far in the vitolas that I've had, but I'm sure the smaller ring gauge will change things quite a bit. I'll torch that one before too long.

I smoked the DPG Cuban Classic Robusto 1979 - God I love DPG! For some reason, this cigar reminded me somewhat of a peppermint. It had a healthy spice to it with this underlying sweetness that was just classic. This was my first of the black labels, and it won't be the last. The finish was fantastic. I think the finish of DPG cigars are one of the most enjoyable aspects of his blends. This one was similar to the Tat Havana VI finish IMO.

I am enjoying a gifted Don Alejandro from 07. This a very nice smoke and I am enjoying this tremendously! Thank you to Simmsboard!

Rocky Patel 1992 tonight after finding out my parents house was broken into....AGAIN. Cigar sucked. I've had them before, but this one fell flat on its face, and I only smoked it halfway. Just no flavor whatsoever, and started getting really harsh with chemical-taste after the first third. After having a PAM 64 last weekend, I think my palette was a bit tainted, but for the better. Don't know if I'll go back for another....the Sun Grown are soooooo much better IMHO.

I've had similar experiences with Rocky Patel cigars. It seems like every third one I smoke is a dud, which is why I don't really smoke them anymore.

I smoked a DC Max Churchill tonight, followed by a Vibe and a Professor Silo Churchill (for the low cost/bundle reviews).

The DC was good, but I don't think those cigars are really for me. The flavor profile just doesn't suit me. As for the other two, you can see my reviews in their respective threads.

Smokin a Tatuaje Petite right now.
I jhave no idea why this little smoke isn't talked about more.
I am a quarter of the way in and totally blown away.
This is a smoke I picked up yesterday at a B and M.
WOW!

come on, you know why ... :)

After letting it sit a year in the humi I pulled out a RP olde world reserve last night (wrapper off)...the verdict is that it was a lot better then I had remembered it being the last time I tried this. 1st third was a little bland, but it came into it's own after that. With a flavor profile that is unlike most RP sticks it was a nice & mellow cigar that reall hit the spot last night. IIRC these got mixed reviews when they came out, but IMO they have really started to turn the corner. If you have one of these resting somewhere it may be worth pulling it out and giving it a whirl.

Edit cause I can't spell

2002 RyJ Ex. 4
ERDM Choix Supreme (gifted by Tone-NY)...thanks brother!

They were both very good. The ERDM was outstanding.

After a bad day, a VSG Sorcerer from mid '06 made me feel slightly better.

Oliva SV Robusto. Flawless wrapper...smooth n' tasty!
PAM 26' 40th Maduro...ooohh...it was okay. :D  :whistling:

Smoking a Conquista from Tampa Humidor. A honduran cigar made by rocky patel for tampa humidor. Not a bad full bodied smoke for the price.

I just nubbed a Casa Fuente Corona Gorda. Damn good smoke! Not worth $18 IMHO but still pretty damn tasty.

Fuente Anejo #50 (2007)

Camacho Triple Maduro 11/18...my first one, and DAMN, a great smoke. I almost want to say it beat out the Anejo today. :0

Padilla 1932 and a Cohiba Mini. The deal on Cigars Int'l for 15 Padilla's a few weeks ago was money well spent.

Edited to correct typo

Umm...
Cause they are Tat?

Last night smoked a 2 year old WOAM and De la Concha house blend.
Both very nice!
