Took a late lunch an smoked a Tatuaje Angeles. Was a tad dried-out as I've been neglecting my office humi, but still fantastic smoke.

LFD Factory Press II. I could almost see myself in the cigar, it was so oily. The shine brought a tear to my eye (I should have worn sunglasses  ). Great smoke, great flavor.

Nuttin

had a Don Pepin Garcia JJ series torpedo calling my name, but didn't finish up w/ the Young Life function until almost 10pm, so i delayed it until tonight (having 4 couples from church over, they may be calling me a heathen after they watch me smoke a 'gar and drink a single malt)

Last night had a very enjoyable BTL (Thanks to Dave!) with the JR crew. Construction was solid and taste was very good. It's almost getting teased by WOAM as I picked the subtle hints of the maduro wrapper.

Aged Maddie #20

I love Aged Maddies and this was the perfect size for lunch break. These things are so damn smooth and just the right amount of flavor for a mid day smoke.

CAO Sopranos Associate....

I expected more from such a pricey stick. Plus, I think the B&M has a beetle problem as I found another Associate with a nice round hole (about 1mm diameter) in the wrapper. The owner of course played it off "Beetles? what are those?" Guess I won't be bringing anything home from there.

I totally agree!! I only have one #30 left from a box I bought in the spring. I think they are way underrated and one of the better maduros out there.

As for me, I had an Opus xXx from last year. I love these things, hell of a kick too!

Well either way it's a good reason to not go there. If he really has no idea what beetles are, then he doesn't know his business, and if he does know and is putting up a front, then he's a lying bastid.

Either way I'd be done there, even if the stick really wasn't infected.

The temperatures hit 60 so I had to fire up the outdoor heater and sit back with a delicious Montecristo D LE 05. This 43 ring gauge (dalia) is such a fantastic size. Tons of tasty smoke volume. Draw was perfect. The burn started a little uneven and then corrected and was razor-sharp and perfect. Solid construction. Damn...what a great smoke  So good I almost forgot there was a cold front pushing through SoCal

Sig 6 and I must say it was great
I wasnt sure what to expext with what Ive reed hear on the forum
But Just like its review in European Mag. it was better than the Rubusto I had a few months ago

trying out new stuff at a local B&M

Drew Estate Chateau Real (really lacks in everything a cigar should be, especially flavor)
Partagas 160 .... :sign:
Cusano 18 maduro .... not for me.
Gran Habano gifted by Will (Rudou) i think, at the NYC herf at 12/5/06
and an LFD Mysterio.... flavor packed and delicious finish.

Sandford's 90th DC Max
AVO LE 5
Monte #2
Tatuaje Noella

Not a bad birthday :)

Started off with one of the Outlaw "house blend" Padilla perfectos. What a little ass kicker! Tons of smoke, and lots of spice at first. Started off damned powerful, but then mellowed some. It was stronger than I expected, but I'm not complaining. I've never had the RyJ they compare this one to, so I don't know how well that comparison holds.

Now I'm enjoying a Camacho Corojo Diploma. This is my first, and it simply kicks ass. The first 1/2" or so had a definite jalapeno type twang to it. I've read some reviews saying these sacrifice flavor for power, but I don't find that to be the case.

I want more of both!

PSD4 this morning and just finished an Anejo #50 with a little PVW 20yo.

H.UPMANN LONSDALES- SSU LL00

This cigar started of nice and woody... the herbal flavors became pronounced about an inch in. A little tight with the roll... but i didn't have to work to hard. Nice straight burn. Very nice creamy and clean tobacco flavor through out this baby. The pepper showed up at the end. It became very powerful. It shifted to a spicey curry flavor the last inch and a half. I found myself sipping my Baileys and coffee after every puff. Of course when I sat it down it was a mere inch nub. One heck of a long finish too. I was feeling and tasting this well over an hour later!

PS. I smoke this last night.
