Two cigars last night, Punch Super Selection No. 2 and RyJ Churchill.

An after lunch cigar....Sancho Panza, Escudero.... Very pleasant and aromatic.... good for an afternoon, after lunch cigar...

I like those Escuderos too. Some are put off by their size but I'm sorry when they end!

I had my review Baloney, of course. Then, still in the spirit of trying a new, cheap cigar, I broke out a Mayorga Toro Tubo round from a box that I got at JR Auction for $40 a few months ago. Ironically, a very similar flavor profile as the Baloney.

I almost bought the Super Selection 1 and settled for Super Partagas. I'm such cheap ass bastard it's amazing I ever buy anything at premium prices. Besides, I like Partagas flavor and you can't beat $4 a cigar!

I still haven't tried the ISOM RyJ but from what I've heard, I think I might like them. Earthy, right?

This Mayorga I'm smoking is a little more complex than the Baloney. The Baloney was straight cocoa and leather. This changes from nutty to cocoa and back again with a leather bcakground. Not bad for $2!!

They're often described as being "floral" and while that may be true, particularly with Exhibicion No. 4's, I find that the Churchills are the most unique of the RyJ blends, followed by the Cazadores and the various Cedros de Luxes (not considering any of the special edition RyJ's, which I have yet to sample).

a Pretty Little Petite Corona...gifted by a BOTL on this forum whose handle is a dried root thought to have medicinal properties... :whistling:

Thanks for providing a wonderful smoke!

After dinner I had a RP Old World Reserve churchill along with a bottle of BC Rootbeer. It was a very good combonation, considering i almost always have cigars w/ alcohol. My friend fired up a partagas black, and the draw was so bad i had to get the poker. The reason was because he loves his relative humidity right at 72% so the draw on his cigars is sometimes bad...oh well. Then again my Rocky Patel was kept right at 67% and was sleeping for at least six months. :D

Why? It makes most cigars taste like crap, too. You could get some cigars he smokes and store them in your 67% humi and let him try the alternative. ;)

Also, it sure would be a heck of a lot easier, cleaner and more effective to check the draw before firing it up and then if you need the poker, use it then.

As for my smoke of the evening... a good old Tatuaje Cojonu 2003. I've had these babies sitting in my humi for a good year or so and haven't had one for at least six months. I'm not sure why; probably because they have been hiding in the bottom of my humi. I love the oily look to these lovely sticks. I'm looking forward to it!

To start off the day.........Cuaba salomons........That was at 11am.......Just finished a Cohiba Robusto....... Very nicely blended..........Tomorrow.....Montecristo D EL and Punch Diadema.......The Punch will take two hours at least.......

Tat HavIV w/ a Elmer T Lee bourbon, Gurkha Regent Robusto w/ a Elmer T Lee :D

damn those Gurkha's are SWEET

LFD Oscuro Lancero (thanks you-know-who!)

and a camaroon special Anejo Shark - think I like the normal shark better... and the LFD Oscuro even more so!

Today was a three cigar day for me. Met up with the Alaska contingent of CP and a couple of wannabes at a local shop for some fun.

Started off with a PAM, then a LFD Double Legero (thanks Swissy!) followed by a CAO Extreme chaser.

I went through the normal amount of cigars I smoke in a week in less than 5 hours. :)

Anejo 59 I really liked this smoke as it had some power but with an overall sweetness that I just couldnt get enough of. I think I like these better than the 77's

Padron '64 Exclusivo is in the line up today, I haven't had one of these in a while.
