What did you smoke today

Had a La Aurora Preferido Robusto in the afternoon and an AF short story tonight. I still love the short story, especially as the days get colder....

Tonight, I enjoyed a Casa Fuente Torpedo -- an excellent smoke! Thanks again, Derek (Fuscat).

Late this afternoon had a Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut. Decent smoke, a bit mild for me and the draw was average at best. My local B&M had a Patel event a few weeks ago so I thought I would try the new line. The cigar I had was pretty tightly packed though. I would take one if someone gave me one but won't buy another. Decided to step up the flavor later and am finishing up a FFOX super belicoso. A few burn issues for the first inch but it has corrected itself nicely and I'll be nubbin' this one.

I had my first Don Carlos.....I don't know what AF calls the vitola, but I'd call it a robusto. It was......ok. Nice, but I'm not sure they're worth the $$ to me.

Last night I had a Cuaba Exclusivos. It was so damn good that despite the cold, I went back inside, got another, and smoked it too.

Tonight after work I had my first CAO Brazilia Gol. It lasted me two hours, and for me that is a long time. Very nice all the way to the finish, but was a little strong for me. The Pirahna size might suit me better.

At lunch I stopped by my local B&M to look for an ashtray. They had the big Padron ashtray for $19 so I picked one up. As long as I was there I took a look in their humi and grabbed the Brazilia since I heard so much about them, and a Partagas Black Bravo. He gave me a couple of empty boxes for free so I can organize my coolidor better. A good day. :)

Gurkha Vintage robusto that was so-so and a Petite Tatuaje that was pretty good!!

Out raking the leaves today while I had a Co Ro, which was GREAT... and then a lil later finished out the day with a HDM Epi #2. This was my first one, and had some mixed opinions about it, definetly will have to revisit this one to establish a proper opinion.

Sheesh what didn't I smoke

I lost count after that. I know my lips were on fire this morning. After a 12 hr black jack stint...

Stickin with the pipe tonight. Way to stinkin cold to really enjoy a cigar.

12 degrees with a slight wind that makes it feel like 4 degrees.

Had me a Gurkha Centurian XX yesterday. Been a while, but it was solid. The wind made a bit harder to enjoy, but the taste was all there.

Enjoying a Padron Anni Principe Maduro this afternoon. It's been a while since I've had one of these... too long!

Started off after breakfast with a LGC Wavell which was quite good, great burn and it held its ash nicely. Pre-football I smoked a Cusano 18 Paired Maduro and was pleasantly surprised - good flavor, remarkable draw and tons of smoke. Wish I could talk about the Padilla Maduro I had next but I tossed it after 15 minutes as I had to work way too hard on it - real tight pull. Capped off the afternoon with a La Aurora Preferido No. 2 Maduro which hit the spot nicely.

5 Vegas A after dinner tonight. Much better than the one I had 2 months ago. Maybe a little humi time helps.

Cuesta Rey Centennario 60 Natural while watching the Raptors lose... definitely one of my top 5 NCs.

Had a hemmingway classic, which got quite good in the 2nd half. The first bit was surprisingly tasteless, and the end was bitter, couldn't nub it. I think i'll let these sit at least 6 months before touching them again. I'm sure being slightly sick didn't help either, but I couldn't resist, I just got these last week. It sucks being a n00b, all my stock is pretty fresh. :p

Were you at the Belicoso lounge in Orland? I dropped by too, in the morning. I also got a 1999, haven't smoked it yet though. After your review, I guess i'll let it sit awhile. I had a sungrown there, and it was quite good, better than I remember. I wonder how much age the RP reps box had on it. Almost bought a box of 1990's, but my humi is full. Also picked up a corojo Edge, OWR, and another free sungrown.
