Between that and what I’d imagine chewing on a band aid would taste like.Haha, probably! Did the Bigfoot taste oxidized (cardboard) or even funkier?

Bandaid is actually a pretty common flaw in homebrews. Weird it would show up from aging though, as it's typically caused by non-ideal fermentation conditions.Between that and what I’d imagine chewing on a band aid would taste like.
That’s what i thought. I’ve seen it in Homebrews and young big beers, but not something really old.Bandaid is actually a pretty common flaw in homebrews. Weird it would show up from aging though, as it's typically caused by non-ideal fermentation conditions.
The regular version was one of my favorite beers, and they aged amazingly. That sounds fantastic!Hard to believe I’ve had this Oak Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout on tap since December 2017. That is until you think about the keg is over 5 gallons, and the ABV is 17.5%.
Been more than one night where I thought “Oh I’ll just have one or two” and I don’t remember going to bed the next morning.

This has aged just like the bottled version. The vanilla is a bit muted, but the booziness is gone. It’ll get you into trouble real fast. I just had two glasses like the one pictured last night and I feel pretty tired and dehydrated this am. Slept great last night though. The regular version was one of my favorite beers, and they aged amazingly. That sounds fantastic!

It did feel a little light last night.Whoa, I remember you buying that. At this rate, is it going to last until 2023?
Those English pint glasses are the best. I've still got a Sam Smith one I use all the time. This has aged just like the bottled version. The vanilla is a bit muted, but the booziness is gone. I prefer them over IPA glasses. About two weeks ago I broke a Stella pint glass I brought back from a pub in the UK in 2005. It was my favorite NEIPA glass and I honestly was a bit heartbroken sentimentally. It was a reminder of my favorite family holiday ever.
