What a Race

You guys are funny as hell. I just have a job that's really slow this time of year and have a boss that is pretty understanding. Get your work done and the rest is your time. Quite frankly, I really didn't need to even come in today, today's work was done yesterday. But theres so many cool things going on on CP right now, especially with the Bravo Draft.

No post padding, just having fun.

So what do you do when you are not making clocks?
Post padding! :sign:

I told you to quit it! I'll never catch up this way!

I don't think I've ever had a 30 post day. ???

Style over quantity here :)

Damn, some of you boys are putting in some major overtime today. My only question is who is going to win this afternoon's race?

Ginseng and the Volusinator are neck and neck at 34 posts, but this day is very young ladies and gentlemen. Burnt toungue is doing his best to hang on, at just one post behind (33). And don't count out CgarDan and the new-comer, Opus meX, who are both coming on strong at 32 and 31 posts respectively. It's anyone's race boys; who's it going to be? Watch out for the Volusinator... I hear he's got some nitrous oxide fuel in those fingers of his.

The Vegas odds haven't listed yet, but when they do we'll be sure to keep you posted.

<just busting your balls guys - you damn post whores :D >
Thank you I am trying to make up for lost time, I watched from the sidelines a little too long.

Oh my, what goes on while you're away from CP for just a short bit of time...

Ladies and gentlemen, out of no where a young man by the name of Gonz(55) from Fricken Cold & Windy, MN has taken the lead by two over the Volusinator(53). What strategy and gamesmanship has been shown here. While the focus has been on Ginseng and others, the sneaky and sly Gonz comes in from nowhere to make this a race again.

More questions...

Who is this man they call Gonz? Is he just a pretender or is he for real? Can he sustain this pace? Is he really blue?

Does the Volusinator have anything left in the tank? Did he not pace himself adequately? Did he run out of nitrous oxide? Did he start getting over confident and turn to working on clocks instead of focusing on the race?

Can Ginseng (39) ever recover? This is one mastermind you can never count out, but time is working against him. Does he have something up his sleeve and is just waiting for the right moment or did Gonz and the Volusinator simply break his will?

So many questions... keeps getting more exciting by the minute.

However, I'm taking off work early, grabbing an early dinner along with a couple brewskies so I'll have to check in much later. Good luck to you boys, may the best post padder, I mean man, win! :D

I think some people are trying to get past their 2000 and 1000th post before anybody notices.

You guys need jobs.
LOL, I'm at mine right now. But I will say, I wish I was more busy while I was here, it does make for a long day when things are slow.

Quality over quantity is right! You'll notice I personalized almost each and every "welcome to the board" I made today!

Unfuckinbelievable (or something like that)...

The Volusinator finished up with a whopping 107 posts for the day (as of 10:27 central time). However, I'm sure by midnight, he will probably be at 200, but enough is enough. Gonz fell short and just couldn't keep his blue engine going any longer and stopped short at a mere 75.

I do have to give props to the new-comer, Opus meX, who came on strong after a little lapse in the action, and came up with a strong 52 posts. I think he must have found some more intro posts that were to his liking. :D

Ginseng, my dark horse, was a little disappointing. All this time I thought he had something up his sleeve but I was proven wrong. Wilkey fell short with only 33 posts for the day. I think the man must have taken a nap this afternoon after one of his beloved moontrance smokes and missed out on the rest of the race. However, I'm sure Wilkey will fight for another day.

Well, it's been fun, but I must crown a new champion of Post Padding for today and the winner, without any question is... THE VOLUSINATOR.

Congratulations you green packer mother fu$ker - you just put post padding into a new realm. If anyone can ever break your record, god help us all.

Today should be a lesson for us all - post padding is still alive and kicking!
