It’s not often I have the house to myself on a Saturday morning. I didn’t let that opportunity go to waste I smoked two ‘new to me’ blends this morning. Both of which were gifted to me by Brandon (@bfreebern) earlier this year - thank you my friend!

The first was Balkan Sobranie. This blend was an absolute delight. Smooth, creamy, sweet and smoky. A winning combination in my book.


The second was GL Pease Westminster. Another incredible blend.

How well do those large bags hold humidity? Like can you do long term storage in them or do you have to transfer it?

They seal really well. Haven't had to xfer any of them to jars.

First bowl of Bayou Morning. Was a little rough around the edges but right at the midway point something switched and it smoothed right out, night and day. Has anyone else experienced that with this blend?

I may have experienced that with my first bowl or two before it started to dry out a bit more. It's certainly gone away for me. Silky smooth start to finish now.
