Smoked some more new 858 SG's since I'm trying to keep my hands off my Short Story Maduros.

Had a Johnny-O! Short from OCT 10, they were fine in May but they're starting to get funky again.

Smoking my first 858SG courtesy of bruddah Dave Very nice smoke, razor sharp burn, and the wrapper is amazing. Smells like an Opus, and is very mottled and oily. Flavor is really coming in at the start of the second third. Enjoying this smoke immensely.

Luckily your pants got the worse of it, my stomach gets in the way sometimes and if I don't wear a shirt, I get burn marks on ma belly! 3 times already. :angry: :laugh:

Smoked a Padron '26 no.1 while walking the dogs, wooooeeeee that's a long smoke. Very, very good though.

Bah....I'd take that over starting my beard on fire. Yes, it has happened a few times and even burnt the upper lip. Ask OpusXKC about the one incident. :laugh:
I started last night with a CFCF 2010 BBMF Maduro and getting ready to fire up a Af Short Story Maduro.

Ok for the official line up. I smoked the BBMF Maduro last night. Started this morning with a Short Story Maduro. I then purchased a Padron 1926 Anni #1 Maduro and a WOAM. Both went poof. I finished the day off with a cigar from the Carlito's Secret Stash and it was sooooooo yummy. Plus, it did sport a nice kick.

Tried a Panacea Green label toro last night with some Woodford Reserve. Really nice combo, the green was very smooth. Followed it up with a Gran Habano #1 and some Four Roses. The #1 was very pale in comparison to the Green label.

I fired up a Queen B today and it hit the spot. I've been on a AF Maduro and SG kick as of late.

I smoked an El Credito War of Flavors. I'd seen some positive reviews of it, and it's nice to have a cheap short smoke around. I didn't like it.

Got to smoke an Oliva serie O maduro robo I got recently and even though I swore my last box of maduro perfectos were the last I would ever buy of these, this cigar was tasty. Nothing complex, but it made washing the rims on my van very enjoyable. Wonder if shape had a lot to do with the taste.

Finished the night with a La Casita Criollo corona gorda and for the life of me, I just can't seeing these being boxworthy to me, YET. I have 2 more different sizes left and then I'll see how I feel about them.

Last night, an MK Ultra, and today my first EP Carillo New Wave Connecticut. Tasty!

I saw that he came out with a connecticut wrap now, since I like what he's been pushing out, I may chase down some of them for a light/morning smoke.

Smoked a tat reserva cazadore and a K.A. Kendall 7-20-4 gifted to me by Rydermonster/Reid in celebration of his new boy Cade. Good smoke!

Gran Habano #3, decent smoke but I still like the #5s better, and a Panacea White Corojo that was again very good.

Had another Padron Panatela today. I really, really like this stick. I need to find someplace I can get a box.

I saw that he came out with a connecticut wrap now, since I like what he's been pushing out, I may chase down some of them for a light/morning smoke.

Smoked a tat reserva cazadore and a K.A. Kendall 7-20-4 gifted to me by Rydermonster/Reid in celebration of his new boy Cade. Good smoke!

It's a great combination. Mild wrapper, but a flavorful smoke. And from what I've seen, they're inexpensive to boot. If my other singles smoke well I'll be looking into a box purchase.

Smoked one at IPCPR and really enjoyed it with a mild morning coffee. Decided to I will be getting them in eventually. Still one of the best blenders out there IMHO. Boy it does make me long for the old LGC blend though.

Thanks Gavin! I'll look for a 5'ver when I order more cigars. I have enough nut kicker cigars in my arsenal for now, time to switch to the "kinder, more gentler" wrapped smokes. :laugh:
