Today's Smoke II

'08 RASCC last night that was perfect.

Smoked a Famous 7000 Nattie today that was great for a yard gar. A little age improved these quite as bit.

Enjoyed a Padron 3000 and a LFD DL Robusto last night at Downing. Also got the chance to drink some free Dewar's in a blind taste test. Sadly they made made you drink them back to back with the other liquors. Gave a Ghurka Viper (not a fan of them) and a Gran Habano #5 to a few friends. Great night. Loved the LFD.

Padron Churchill with a few years of age on it to start the day, then an Oliva Series V No. 4. To end the night I tried Casa Magna Domus Magnus. It burned a bit hot, but had nice flavor.

Last night did some packing then fired up a Nick's Sticks Robo and a Shiner Black. Nice combo.

I've been hitting the AF Queen B's and 858 SG's pretty hard. One could say I have been on a SG kick lately. :D

EP Carillo Core Line, and a Quesada Tributo Alvaro. The Tributo was completely one dimensional until the final third, when it finally got really good.

Yesterday I had three great cigars:
La Casita Criolla Corona
AF Short Story Maduro
LFD Air Bender Chisel

Another night of prepping and packing, but found time for a Dos Hombres Dom maddie(Thanks TallPaul!) and more Shiner Black. A very mild maduro and a pleasant smoke.

Started off with a Flor De Ybor City Maddie while frying up some catfish and grilling some stuffed duck breast. Then the celebratory cigar (after Alabama beat Penn State) was a very fine FFOX gifted from Anthem (Matthew-thank you brother-that was one of the best cigars I've ever had!).
Paired both with several glasses of Elijah Craig, on the rocks of course!

I smoked a pork shoulder last night. During the 11 hour cook I had a Ppadron londres and an Opus X.

Now for some football!

LGC Serie R Limitada 2006 and an Outlaw WTF Toro while listening to the Chiefs get their asses kicked. At least the weather and cigars were good!

I fired up a Hemingway Signature Maduro this morning. I gave the 2nd one I had to my sister to fire up. I also gave her boyfriend a AF Queen B to fire up and I had one as well. Just saying the big dogs for the Herf in Houston on the 17th. If all goes well for me.

I enjoyed several over the weekend, but the BBMF while sharing a bottle of 2007 Caymus Cab. Sauv. with my wife was more than memorable. It helped that my Mountaineers finally kicked into gear too!

Had a Babalu double mad with some Woodford Reserve. Don't know if the cigar was really mild or if the Woodford just overpowered it. Really beginning to like Woodford Reserve.

'08 RASCC last night that was perfect.

We need to order more of these   I've got about 10 left :(

Edit: not counting the few boxes from 2010 I have
Nothing wrong with '10s! I'm low on some small Nic Puros, though. There you have it. As good as the RASCC are, they're no better than a Padron Londres or Tat #5 - to my memoration - but my memory sucks lately. Two days ago is forever, anymore! Maybe I should smoke another '08 RASCC to refresh it? :)

the 2010's are good but still YOUNG! I like em better with a couple of years on them.

Fired up a Alec SCR last night with a glass of 2007 Ruby Hill Peacock Patch Zin. The sweetness of the zin went very well with the SCR.

An Illusione 68 to start the day, and a Viaje Oro Torpedo to end it.
