Today's Smoke 2022

Glad you enjoyed Aaron! I was shocked how outstanding they were for such a young cigar.
I was getting some citrus and hay notes early, but then it moved to espresso and earth, finished with stewed fruit. I could smoke those everyday and never get tired of it.

Look what I found, this cigar must be at least 6yr old in my humi. Found it hiding in a corner by some singles.

I used to buy these Bahia Maduros all the time from CI for 30 to 40 bucks a bundle. I honestly forgot I liked these and not even for the price.

You going to share that secret after you smoke it? Seriously, a secret batch? You got connections.!
It actually was not bad. But I think it needs some time for the flavors to marry a bit more. Definitely has the warped profile. Here is the info on this another cigar I got from small batch

I was wondering who bought those things! Actually, the looks of that sucker along with your reco, makes me think I need to buy and try. What'd the 6 years or so do to it?

I'm going with the original MF from late '21... newest and freshest I've had.. about 3 weeks at 67%. Beautiful smoke, start to finish with a nice wallop right at the end that had me wait a good 15 mins before starting something else, a Genesis The Project (for you @Pugman1943!). 👍

The time in the humi only mellowed a mello cigar more. To be honest it's a one trick pony not really complex. But the flavor notes it provides are solid throughout and a great cigar to have if your busy with other things. As I said I enjoyed it just don't expect a lot. At that price you could give them away and not feel bad.

I remember smoking the Bahia reds back in my CI days many beers ago. I doubt I'd even finish one as a yard 'gar today.

Kids are back in school, after Spring Break, woo hoo! Took the dogs for a quick walk, before the 2 inches of rain shows up. Enjoyed this xXx courtesy of @tone-ny

The split was due to the 100% humidity, once I made it back with the dogs and sat down to finish this thing. Who doesn’t love xXx in the mornings!

Bolivar Confradia with a visitor. You have to look just a bit at the second photo, but if you see that ring tail leading up to armour plate, that is our resident armadillo. I had just exhaled and looking down, this dude comes across the patio, stops, looks around and bogies under the fence leading to the creek. He was rooting under the leaves by this time I could get the camera on him. I told ya'all I had friends.
