Today's Smoke 2016

Vacuum sealed that long? Stored in a humidified environment or with a boveda sealed inside? I'm curious. I still have some of those. Gave one to a buddy and he tossed his cookies.
After smoking my first one I was blown away and quickly ordered several more boxes. I knew I wouldn't get around to smoking a few of the boxes for several years, so I figured vacuum sealing them would be a way to possibly slow down the aging process. It seems to have worked in this case.

No Boveda pack. I just tossed the boxes in the humi once they were vacuum sealed.

Another one of these Juan Lopez S#2's, ORA SEP14...maybe it's all the Nicaraguan sticks I've smoked over the past year and a half or so, but I'm really loving what I think of as a much fuller bodied "erratic, youthful flavor". These things are like smoking an everything bagel....you never know what you're going to get in every puff, lol.

I'm looking real hard at this week's Corona Gorda sampler from Jack, too. I don't recognize most of them, but . . . JS usually picks pretty good stuff. Not like some vendors that fill their samplers with house brands!

Walkdown cigar for today is a Caldwell long live the king petite double wide short churchill. The name is ridiculously long but it is a good cigar. Good looking, impeccable burn and some nice flavor.

Intemperance BA lonsdale from Roma Craft...I think these are shop exclusive/event-only smokes, but they shouldn't be. If you like earthy on top of earthy, which I most defininitely do, then these are worth tracking down. And the construction was as perfect as anything from RC.

Nice! The PDWSC is rapidly becoming one of my favorite Dominican cigars.
