Glad to be a part of a VERY well orginized pass. Gotta love a pass that doesn't ban well AGED cigars.
 
Sounds good...probably wont get it till monday, but thats fine. As soon as i get it, ill inventory it and get my takes/puts approved with our host and get it on its merry way!

Maybe not Monday since it is a holiday and the PO is not working. :D
 
Pass got here a couple hours ago...everything looks good so far...

Was a little concerned with the hygrometer...high temp of 89, RH of 98!!! :0 :0 I took a look at the beads and they seem to be really saturated so im going to put the smokes in my coolerdor to rest while i dry the beads out a little. Ideal is about a 50/50 mix of white/clear beads...it was more like 90-95% clear. I also put the hygro in with mine(which i know is calibrated, spot on, to note any differences).

Anywho, im tired and wont get to inventory or get to my puts/takes tonight, but will get with out host tomarrow evening and get it out on thursday to the next person in line. Some good lookin smokes in there though and look forward to making my plays.
 
Welp, hygrometer is spot on to mine so i guess its just being exposed to some pretty extreme conditions! Hopefully with the beads dried out a little bit, it will help get the RH down to a better level. The inventory and all the cigars look good. Since i dont have any cubans i decided not to take any even though Tre said he wouldnt mind as long as they were of relative value and that you didnt take em all...still tryin to figure out where you guys are getting all of em?!? :p

Wow that RH is still high. I took out the credo and just left in the beads hoping they would settle, but still looks like they are too wet. Hopefully allowing them to dry out helped. P/T look good, but to be honest it's been a while since I've smoked a N/C so don't take my word of it.
 
Look out Lopaka...shes loose and headin torwards you! Post man said it should be there tuesday, but wouldnt guarantee it with the holiday and everything...

While I appreciate the magnitute of the SS situation, please handle it in the SS forum so we don't clutter my pass thread with the inevitable verbal volleys.

Let us know that status, and that doesn't mean passing out the contents to your students for them to try. I know you'll do anything to be liked, but just a box update on the RH would be wonderful.

Came home today and saw a nice box...it arrived safely. I did a quick check to make sure everything is good inside and everything looks good. I've been taking care of things...so I'll put a picture of the RH/Temp as soon as I can get it online. I'll also put my P/T tomorrow for QC. I'm going to try and get the Box to GCN2 tomorrow and we'll link up with Peekay on Saturday/Sunday.

Update: Upon openning the box the Temp 68.6 and 48% Humidity.

Since I only have 19 Students this class...we all smoked a few over basic aerodynamics, flying paper airplanes through smoke rings. My fellow Instructors just loved the Havana Specials.... :whistling:

Since no one really has said anything...I'm going to give the box with my P/T to GCN2 today. Tomorrow or Sunday we should be hooking up with Peekay for a mini Herf.
