The Musical Cheese Pass

Gentlemen, the icepacks are newly frozen, the cigars have been traded out, the tupperdor is resting at a comfy 70f/68h before the send off, so now it goes to the Dallas P.O. to head northwards to Mr. Fish. Jeff, I've had fun in this pass, thank you sir for inviting me along!

BTW, I would like the Brebis Pyrenees for my cheese.

I'll post the DC # later this evening.

Well played Sir! Glad to have you participate. :D I appreciate your adjusting to the conditions (heat & order).

Next - HOWARD! Was just thinking about you Tuesday at the C&B with Frank and the rest of the guys, we all had a great time when you visited. :)

STILL - The question of a contest is on the floor. Please discuss. I have a very nice 5er for the winner. Let's get some non-participants involved.

I'm ready, but a little bummed that the Brebis Pyraneese cheese is gone. Whatever will I do...

You guys down in DFW rock! Can't wait until I am back in town again and we can meet up for a smoke. I have just one more P/T to decide on and I should be good to go.

Shooting in the dark here for a contest. Since we're choosing obscure tracks for our music, I was thinking a contest to see who can guess the most titles on the Pass End CD.

Give everyone 20 titles max for guesses. When the pass is over, the player with the most correct titles wins.

I know its kinda weak, but I'm on a 60 hour week and out of bourbon! :sign:

I like the idea behind this one for the end of the pass and Thank You! :) I was looking for something we could run now that would involve some interaction between CP at large and TMCP participants. Maybe taking less than 1 week to do.

BTW - only 60hrs?... SLACKER! I do feel for ya on the lack of Bourbon though! :(

I'm back!!!!

Was gone for a while and was worried that the pass might have caught up to me. Almost has. And to add to everything else, my home internet has been down for a week. Time Warner has been less than prompt with working on the problem.

In other words, I might not be back on again until Monday. Shouldn't be a problem with the pass, though.

Glad to see you are alive and well, even if you are not connected. :)

Howard? is everything cool. Package status:

We attempted to deliver your item at 3:23 PM on June 14, 2008 ... and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

I dread the thought of that box sitting in a truck all day. :( PM me & let me know what I can do to help. ;)

Guys,

I'm back home after a helluva trip. The culmination was my cancelled return flight on Saturday. Heavy thunder and lightning storms blew through NYC and shut down all the airports. And so I laid on benches overnight and finally made it back to Delaware Sunday afternoon. I'm still recovering from the all nighter and am ready to be reinserted into the rotation.

Let me know where you'd like me to slot in.

Wilkey

Sorry about the delay. They didn't deliver it on Saturday as expected, just left a note in my mailbox. I got the pass this AM and it is in very good health. RH was 70 and temp inside was 65. I have still not done the inventory but I will this afternoon.

My long awaited P's and T's:

T:AF Don Carlos Lancero P:AF BTL 06
T:CAO Sopranos Edition Tony Soprano Ltd Ed. P:Ashton ESG 21
T:AF Best Seller P:Padilla Miami Robusto
T:Opus Double Robusto P:Avo 80th

Additional P: Partagas Presidente (PBS NOV 07)

The delay in the P's and T's was trying to find a cigar that I could take for a Davidoff Puro Dominicano (my best shot at price was $18) that was within a reasonable price difference was nearly impossible. These are smoking perfect right now and I really wanted to share. If anyone has any suggestions before I send the box out I would appreciate it. I now know the prices of over 100 cigars!

As always if I messed up the prices on my P's let me know and I will make any necessary corrections. After a proper flogging of course. :D

Howard

Edited to correct one take. Jonsey took the Padron 1926 I was anticipating so I swapped in the cigar he put in it's stead.

Welcome back! Sounds like your hiatus was more eventful than mine.

Given geography, I would say that it would make sense to go in front of me, which would mean you're on deck.

Look good to me.

I have no big qualms with the puts and takes.

As for the Davidoff, the only thing that jumped out to me was the Winston Churchill Checquers, but that's not really fair to you. The Checquers is not very HTF and it's a couple dollars cheaper than the Puro.

Howard - well played my Friend! More than generous Ps.
Only one I saw any potential issue is the Soprano as MSRP appears to be $30+ on the one listing for a three pack, BUT I know I paid nowhere near that, in fact I paid $15.57 ea which I think included shipping on a CP GB. That being said it is a good Put as the AVO's go $12.50 - $15.85! :) the EXTRA Put is GREAT! Don't know if there is anything to compete with the Dunhill....
Post and number your P&Ts, sign the ball, load your music, freeze the packs, & please store it in a safe place until you get the OK from Wilkey. Please make sure it is a day addy. ;)
Still trying to track down #7 with no luck so far. :(

Brian - thank you for packing the pass so well, even with a small delay, the package performed well. :D

Brother Wilkey - YOU Sir are on deck! :whistling:

edited to add Dunhill & spelling

I know I am late, but these look great and I concur with all that was said about the Dunhill.

***Missing stick #7 the San Cristobal Supremo***
If you have already had the pass please double check your stash and or your inventory of the pass. You did do inventory, right? :whistling:

I took a look (didn't take long! :sign: ) and no No.7 stick here. I do hope it turns up.

Pass is locked and loaded ready for Wilkey. Just need him to verify the addy and we are off...
