They were one of my favorite bands back when they did stuff. Still don’t get why they had to break up. Seems that they were able to turn the corner and separate themselves from the rest of the genre almost to the point of greatness with use your illusion albums

Four-fifths of the band was addicted to drugs, and Axl was addicted to himself. Guns is my favorite band of all time, and finally getting to see them in Hawaii in Dec. 2018 on the very last stop of the reunion tour was worth the 30 year wait. Prior to that, I figured that (finally) getting to see Slash in 2012 doing his solo thing was the closest I was ever going to get to seeing GNR played live on stage.
