The Douchebag daily jam session 2022

I remember hearing this extended version on the first car I ever had with a Bose stereo system and was absolutely fascinated! The Bose system would literally thump the windows and vibrate the seats. I may or may not have been high:cool:

HELP!

I am wondering if anyone can help me find this song .... or if I just imagined it? I swear it was on an Alan Parsons Project CD. I don't remember which song it was but I remember it started with about a minute of impressive helicopter approach sound and then went into the song.
The IRobot album had some songs that had long intros with sounds that could be described as helicopter. Instrumental "Nucleus" for one.

I Robot is the CD I was thinking it was on but I went back over every song and it wasn't there.

Or even I Robot starts off with some synth/bass/drum that might conjure up a heli under the right circumstances.

Edit, guess that ain't it!

This was a very distinct sound of a helicopter approaching and getting louder and louder and louder ..... right up to the start of the song. Not synthesized.

Ed, I bought about 1000 albums off an FM station, many with very few plays. Ostensibly a "jazz" station, but many with similar instrumentals to the Pete Fountain piece. Maybe tilted towards Coltrane and Armstrong more than Dixieland jazz. I've only cleaned/played a handful and they've been in excellent condition for radio station albums.
