The CP Make-a-Wish PIF Thread

Nope! Not me... PhatCat has been awarded my wish due to winning a contest ;)

He's been PM'd, and replied to in the contest thread. Hopefully he puts up some good ones.
 
Wow. Jim, you really are too kind with this. Thank you. Provides some inspiration as to how I can "step things up" a bit myself. I feel like I've been receiving all this great knowledge and chance to meet some of you. I need to give back a bit more as I'm becoming more able.

I'll try to keep things simple and not ask for too much.

How about an OR Anejo? The more yellow the cello, the better. :thumbs:

After reading some of Kingantz's and other's reviews, I'd love to try any current Anejo. A shark?

Or I've never had a Tat black or frank. That would be too cool.

Or in the ISOM region, I'm a complete virgin. I've read a lot about Bolivars. Or Cohibas. I've tried a Monte #2 but not an ISOM version.

Just about anything would be more than enough. I don't want to make a crazy request.

Again, thanks to Swissy for this. It's more about his act of kindness than me getting a cigar out of this that has made an impression on me.

As for my wish.

I am looking into an ISOM box buy and I currently have a few that I am eying.

With that said: Ideally I would like to try one or two of your favorite ISOM's prior to my buy.

I currently have tried the following:

PLPC
RASS (thinking about a box of these but, want a slightly larger stick)
VR Unicos
Partagas Shorts
Monte 4

Looking for something a little larger around the size of a robusto.

The boxes I am eyeing and would ideally like trying are 1 or 2 of the following: Siglo VI, Monte Edmundo, PSD 4, Trini Robusto. I am also interested in anything along these lines that you think I might like.

If this doesn't work I will update later today with some local treasures.

Ben graciously offered me one of his lone ISOM's and the only of this particular marca. I actually have a the offered stick in my humi have not smoked yet. It is of a smaller gauge than what I am looking at for my box buy. I also let him know that I would feel bad taking his only version of this marca and that he should enjoy it. With that said I told him if this does not get a hit that we could work something else out involving another stick as I did not want to take the last or only of his precious rarities.

So for the time being this wish is still active.

I am glad that I was able to help welcome you to CP. It really is a great place and the generosity that goes on here behind the scenes is a constant reminder that there still are some good people out there.
