The Charlottesville Pass

OK - DC # 0304 1560 0005 9643 0516

I also took M5 and M16, the usual size that I smoke.

Off to Eshaw, heads up.

OK guys, six of the mystery sticks have been taken and not a single one sacrificed. :0 C'mon, can't wait to get some reviews on these things. Want to see if you guys can figure out what you are smokin'.

Besides, it's been a couple of days since anyone posted to this thread, so I thought I'd top it. :p

I got the pass today, everything looks in order. I hope to get my puts/takes done tomorrow so I can have this in the mail on monday.

And to whoever wrote "Show us your boobs!" on the outside of the box, my wife, mother-in-law, and a five year old foster child loved that...thanks

Okay, you want a review? I've got a review. Well, sorda...I haven't done much so here it goes...

M-8. Robusto w/pig tail. My initial thought before lighting a Trinidad Robusto. The cigar was sweet and smooth. It gave off lots of smoke and had an easy draw to it. The burn was slightly uneven, but it may have been because of me. Me being a robusto fan, the cigar was pretty good. I'd rank a 6.5-7 on a 10 point rating scale. I have no idea but to go for my first thought...a Trinidad robusto. ???

M-9. Dark looking churchill. Pre-aroma scent smelt like somebody had been licking it. :p A firm feeling stick. The burn started out uneven, but quickly evened out. Flavor was floral/tea-ish flavor. I'd rank this 7.5 on a 10 point scale rating. This may be a long shot but I'm going for a Davidoff Churchill? ???

Am I close?

I haven't had the chance to try my smokes as of yet, but I will post notes and my guess.

Damn, those must have been some pretty decent sticks to earn such high-end guesses. :p Unfortunately, you are waaayyyy off. I'll start by saying that neither was an ISOM. I'll also say that there are at least two ISOMs among the mystery sticks. (for those that don't get that, it was a hint :whistling: ) M8, the cigar with the pig-tail, was actually a CAO Criollo La Mancha. Decent little medium-bodied cigar. M9 was one of my favorite NC smokes. It was a Oliva O Ovation, a Nicaraguan puro. I think you hit the flavor profile right on with this one.

Nice reviews. I do hope you enjoyed them. Thanks for participating in the little "gimmick" for this pass. I, for one, am having loads of fun with it.

It was my pleasure. Thanks for letting me be part of your pass. Any prize for the first one to submit a review? :D

Ree
