Jeff, I’m thinking we are not going to fill this up so we need to play with 10 players and with @Puros Locos we have 10 now. 4 of us will be winners, in one fashion or another, leaving 6 people shipping one fiver each. I can’t think of any other payout that keep everyone sending, doing so once and it shows enough distinction between the winners to make a difference in winning and loosing.

1st quarter winner doesn’t send any sticks out
3rd quarter winner doesn’t send any sticks out
Half Time winner will receive two fivers
End of the game winner will receive four fivers

Did I explain it right? Does anyone have any thoughts on a better format?

That makes sense, except @Puros Locos makes it 9. If @Corneighdo wants to wager 10 cigars then he’ll choose 20 squares and the rest of us will choose 10 squares. Which will fill the board.
 
So there is a 50 square variation. But if we go that route, the pay out should be reduced to half time and final scores. The final being bigger than halftime.
50 cigar pot. So.... 20 half/30 final or 15 half/35 final.

One conference gets 2 numbers per square. Doesn't matter which one. Dealers choice.

I updated the wagers and added the board to the first post. We're sitting at 70% full. Let's start picking squares based on the number of cigars being wagered. We can adjust Saturday, if needed.

It's still open. We only need 30 more. That will give everyone the opportunity to participate and/or increase their wager. If we can't get to 100%, then we'll reassess. i.e. 2 squares per cigar.

I'll close it Friday at 9pm pst and go from there. My hope is to have the board filled out prior to the virtual herf time on Saturday so I can perform the random point draw during that time.

@MX is your turn to pick 10 squares.

I saw your PM, go ahead and post them in here, so others don't have to wait for me to update the board to make their selections. I'm in and out of the office today and won't be able to update the board until this evening.
