Just currious, how do you plan on taking care of your plants over the winter? I had thought about trying to grow inside this winter, but decided to just wait until the spring. Do you have an indoor greenhouse or grow lamps?
Get some seeds and start them about 30 days before last frost, if you need seed resources, PM me and I can give you some. You can store the seeds for quite awhile, years even.I've thought for a while about growing my own tobacco, but i live in Alaska.....are there any suggestions to make tobacco last the long cold winters up here before i get started?

Once grown and cured, if kept in the proper conditions, just like cigars, the tobacco will have a long shelf life.
In one of my travels to India I observed that a they chew thir tobacco? What's the difference between smoking it and chewing it? a little help here
