Quad State Herf III @ Schlesingers Cigar Bar

I had a conversation with Joel Sherman (President of Nat Sherman) and he offered to do a visual presentation for us after the raffles are complete which would be roughly 1600 (4pm).

Joel knows that the B / SOTL are there for dinner and socializing, but as we all know, the restaurant doesn't open till 1630 (4:30pm) for dinner and he promised that it will keep your attention. I'm sure that the presentation will be quite informative and as always, Joel speaks from the heart. Here is a short video from RTDA:

As each year goes by, the Quad State Herf gets bigger and I hope you all enjoy the addition that we have on the 23rd of Feb at this year's event........ :)

Hey, you're not the boss of me, you can't tell me what to appreciate, even if I do appreciate all the work you've put in and all the generosity of the vendors!

Stogie keep up the great work. Cant wait till the 23rd

Robert

ps i received your PM but didnt know how to respond. I must be blind...lol

Charlie, as a follow up, please remove Angelo and Tom from the standby list, I'd like to make sure others get a chance.

Change Jeff to Tom on the insider's list.

3 weeks and counting.

Carry on.

I may be making this one again Charlie

It's one of the best herfs ever! (the steaks are killer too!)

Hope to see you then

~Mark

ps - anyone know of a nice place to stay that close?

there's a Days Inn round the corner, and I think they even have smoking rooms...in fact I know they do but don't tell any of my dates....

Charlie,
This is going to be AWESOME! I will again make my offer of PA equipment. I can bring in a couple of speakers and a wireless microphone setup so that the raffle and speakers can be properly heard. As an audio pro I know that ceiling speakers will not cut it or sound good in a full room.........

Let me know dude!

Mark,

It was great talkin' with you yeterday and I hope the show went well last night. Enjoy your working vacation in Florida and I'll talk with you when you get back. Thanks for the offer for the PA equipment and the wireless mic. It will make things a lot easier for the raffle and then I can pass it over to Joel Sherman to use during his presentation. You are definitely the pro sound man....... :)

Oh yeah, I just updated the Sponsor this morning!!!!

My pleasure charlie, I am happy to be able to help out.
Looking forard to seeing the local guys and gals again, plus the folks that are traveling.
BTW... The show is tonight in Milwaukee so if any BOTLS are in the area come to the Potawatomi Bingo Casino to see the Funk Brothers. The show is free too!

The Guest / Stand-by / Sponsor list has been updated and we are less than 3 weeks from Herfin'.......

Charlie, I can't wait. It'll be great to finally meet and put faces to the names of all the "right coast" BOTL's and SOTL's that I've known for years but haven't met.

Kudos in advance for what sounds like a smashing event. This is gonna rock, folks.....

Best Regards - B.B.S.

Looking forward to meeting you too. Glad you can make the long trip!

He did say the Mi Casa Su Casa , "My House (is) Your House".......... :D  :p

Wow i saw the list had been updated and the standby list got shorter. i have a slim chance of getting in.
i feel like im online at a posh nite spot in manhattan and the bouncer is being "selective" damn me and my pocket protector :(

OH NO!!! Charlie, I'm gunna' hafta' bow out, that opens up two spots. My band just got booked for that night and we start playing at 9PM. That means I would have to be in Peekskill to start packing up at 6:30, not giving me the proper amount of time to enjoy the Herf. Plus I don't know if I would be able to cut through a rock band singing 35 or so songs after smoking 2-3 cigars that afternoon! My sorrow will be someone else's joy....Ralph
