Puppy Pass IV

I ordered the banner yesterday so we could hope that the two packages would arrive roughly at the same time. I'll keep you guys posted.... :cool:

A word or caution... if possible use Clink-N-Ship. I got raped in postage due to dimensions (and it's only 10x12x18!) as I had to stop off on the and get BBS's band of terror pups some born and bred Alaskan treats.

Pass is here and looking very intact. Busy with work stuff (#*&^%^%$^%$#!) so I won't get into it tonight or tomorrow night.

The banner has shipped and has a scheduled delivery of October 2nd. So, we have a little "delay of game" but not too bad, overall. I'll put the package in a nice cool closet in an unused bedroom for now, for safe keeping.

I'll get back with P's and T's Wednesday or sooner....and ship it ASAP once the banner docks.

Obviously things are tougher in Alaska. In Erie, we use snow blowers. Haven't figured out how to get the dog to run one though. :laugh:

Guys - my apologies. Been slammed at work. I haven't even opened the pass.....yet.

The good news is that the banner arrived today...!! I'll get Ps and T's together and get this baby back on the road tomorrow. The banner looks great and I'm sure the guys will love it.

Sorry for the delay of game but when you see the banner, I think you'll all agree it was worth a couple of days..... :thumbs:

It looks like it'll sign just fine. The flash on my Nikon made the colors WAY more vivid in the pic than they are in "real" life, but it's still a nice looking banner. Poor thing got wadded up pretty badly at the factory; I'm going to let it hang tonight until tomorrow when I'll sign it and put it in the box.

It seems to be 100% nylon and as such, should take a sharpie just fine.

Ms. B.B.S. and I were just talking and I think we're going to see if we can't iron some of the really nasty folds out of it. It's 100% nylon so with the iron on it's lowest setting, we should get some traction.

Might want to try placing the banner between a couple of towels when you iron it.

....burned the house down and the Staebell added fuel to the fire. I had to sell the pass to put a roof over our heads tonight and I'll have to sell my body tomorrow in order to eat and provide sustenance for my family. ...ya FAWKER.... :laugh:

OK, fair enough....I plead guilty to "delay of game" as charged but we're ready to go now. BS aside, gents, I do apologize for the delay in getting this back on the road. I could give you great excuses but the truth is there aren't any for holding a pass for a couple of days as I've done.

Got 'er boxed up and I'm trying to get the USPS web site to cooperate long enough to get a label and a DC ready to go. Man, it's slower than I've ever seen it tonight.

No worries, Jim - I just feel bad that the pass sat here while we were waiting for the banner than my life got in the way and it added to the delay. Honestly, I like to turn passes in 24 hours or less if at all possible. Just didn't happen this time.

I'll post the DC when I get it, and this sucker will travel tomorrow.

I also owe you some pics of the heard with the new treats...!! They look pretty fancy there, Jim - I may have a couple for myself..... :laugh:
