Post Here when you receive your Cigar from VITASEA

Ok, my .02 here. Vitasea and I exchanged PM's after his post in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum. We had a minor misunderstanding that was resolved privately to my satisfaction and his as well. He has sent me some smokes even though I didn't ask for them, and if they are legit (which seems to be the case, although I haven't received mine yet), then I think it is a very nice gesture on his part. My gut tells me that he's on the up and up, but just made a poor decision on how to go about things initially. Time will tell I guess.

Definitely -- if they are legit, anyone who does not send a package back is in serious need of an enema.

I would agree with this.
Didn't know I was going to be on the list, but the one I got looks pretty good, nice wrapper, visible tight triple cap, smells nice. Will let this sit for a bit first.

Time will tell but he seems cool to me.
It is a nice gestute. And I do like that he has invited a friend of Matt's to check some out.

ooooh, is this the guy that was saying something about accidentally sailing to Cuba?

Did all you guys end up buying from him?

No.... he wound up sending some freebies to some guys to prove that what he's got are truly ISOMs

I agree, if they are the real deal, then everyone should send something in return...
I have not gotten mine yet....i'll let you know when i do, and will try to post some pics for comparison...

Got mine today! Appears to be the real deal. It'll have to sit in the humi for a week or so. Then it'll smoke!

Hey Vitasea...If everything finalizes well, which appears to be the case...I will definately send you something in return.

Thanks,

Bret

Got mine today, and it took a pretty good beating getting here.

It is now shaped like a flat banana and the cap has come off and the foot is split up the side about an inch and it is real wet.

On the other hand, it does smell pretty damn good and I can only guess that it use to look pretty good too, from the looks of the disconnected cap.

We'll wait and see what Matt's Bro has to say and go from there.

As far as showing some thanks IF these turn out to be the real thing, I think we should send him an order to show our thanks and not bomb him with cigars.

"Multiple Cohiba Box Split" would be the right thing to do since he did not come here to trade, but to sell.

He will definitely have to hoan his packing skills cause I would be pissed if a box showed up in this condition.

I shouldn't be laughing though. No Cohiba deserves such treatment :(

beats the alternative! :0

hey, it's a new vitola...an esplendido/robusto hybrid. the "esplendusto"!

OK, I received my smokes from Vitasea today, for some reason I got 2... seperate envelopes. Let me see if I can get this right. Sticks were packaged very poorly, I hope if somebody buys a box he sends them better than he sent these. Both of the cigars seem to be the Esplendido which is supposed to be 7" long. One cigar is definitely longer than the other and I don't know if this is normal. One stick is 7" and the other is 6 3/4". I read that others have spoken about the "caps" and construction. Sticks look very well contructed and the caps are very clean.
I took some pics so guys could judge for themselves.

Received my stick from Vitasea today. Was quite flat, unfortunately, but prob still smokeable. I haven't had any experience with these but it appears to be the real deal based on my research and on what others here have posted (pics, descriptions, etc.)

I'll let it rest for a week or so then give it the burn.

Silly noobie, reading helps! ;)

*I sound like SamClemmons!* :p

Got mine today. A Cohiba Robusto and a Partagas D4. They appear to be legit, although a little flat due to being packed in a bubble envelope. We gotta work on your shipping vitasea, but thanks for the sticks!

BkCloud114, You might have two different cigars. From what I know about Cuban cigars, one thing they can control and are usually fairly precise with, is the length of the cigar. Especially from the same box.

Edit:Siglo V is 43 ring by 6 3/4"
