Well this has certainly been an eye-opening experience and a lot of drama for my first pass experience. I want to thank Tex for what he said about my Millennium put. When I posted by original P/Ts I was sent a PM by a member who said he thought the P/Ts was generous and that "equal" was all we were striving for here. I acknowledged the advice and thanked him for it but added that I wanted to stick with my choices for a few reasons: I was thankful to be participating in my first pass, and a premium one at that; I truly did want the takes (and subsequently really enjoyed them all); and I wanted to post a subtle thanks to a few members who had really made my entry to this board welcome. You know who you are and the behind the scenes generosity made it much easier for a newbie. After the most recent drama with Eleuthardt I was almost sorry for the put. So just a bit of an explanation I guess and a thanks to many for this board, which I am really enjoying and learning from.

Mike aka Cohibasurfer tried to help ALT out and this was the thanks he got. It was this very post (the original red part) that made me quit this pass because of the lack of class and respect shown to a Brother a friend. You know what they say about karma...

If you are one of those snickering in the background, that is fine. There is really not too much that I can do about it. I have spoke all that I am going to about the issue with your friend, because that is all in the past and over with. Do I want to go back on my word to make a few happy? No, and I won't. I stand by my stance that the first 2 P/T's were fine, and I won't back down. That is just me. And you won't see each of my posts edited to make sure I make as many people happy as possible. Now, could I have done a better job politically in how I handled things? I think that is obvious, but what is done is done, and I won't edit things to make up for that.

Again, if you are happy that the pass got royally screwed, then that is just fine, nothing I can do about it...

ALT, no one here is happy your pass got screwed up. Please don't go there, too many others are already there, making those kind of silly statements.

I wouldn't have accepted the Anejo deal, but that's me, I say what I think. You, as the pass owner took a risk by letting the guy in. You tried to be a nice guy but nice guys get screwed. So, you lost a few sticks. But it could have been worse.

Now then, on to the more pressing issue. That's the second bruddah that you have come off on in a not so nice fashion. Funny thing is, you could learn allot from those guys but I guess you made it clear, you're right and you're not changin'.....

Credibility is everything here, remember that. ;)

I just saw this... did anyone notice this? And... did anyone notice that I quit this pass over a month ago because of ALT's treatment of my Brother Mike and because I'm swamped at work. Upon contacting ALT and telling him I was dropping out I was told that the appropriate arrangements would be made. Please tell me that this pass isn't heading to me and that it's going to either wam79 or one of the other Hawaii CPers.

If this pass is heading to me... ALT please contact me via PM so you can provide me with the addy of where you want it sent and so that I can send you my addy so you can send me a Postal M.O. to cover the shipping.

Also, in regards to your previous post... I am not happy nor snickering about your pass. It's pisses me off that anyone's pass would be screwed and I hope everything works out for you. My point in my post was to point out that when you publicly bash a BOTL who was looking out for YOU and treat him as you did then these things have a way of coming back to haunt you. Mike was trying to help you out and look out for you but instead of thanking him and keeping it a private matter you decided to post it on the board and flamed him. I give Mike a lot of credit for holding his tongue then and now as it takes a true gentleman of class to not jump on the post and say "neener neener neener". Brother Mike... you are truly a class act my friend and I'm proud to call you a Brother!

ALT... please contact Brown Devil and let me know the situation of your pass and if it's heading to me. Although I'm swamped at work I'm here to help you if needed.

Tex I think you got offended that someone other than yourself was saying something in your pass. On the first incident I PM'd you with no answer what-so-ever. Zilch.. nadda! I PM'd George and even though you the host said it was ok... he willingly listened to my reasoning and corrected a small petite thing. When other1 did the samething Sober did ... you again turned your back on the situation. I not only felt bad for people that would read this and learn your generousity as a problem for them and others in the future. I also felt bad for Sober who had just done the right thing. So Since you refused to answer my PM's the first time, I thought I should just bow out and not have my name involved. But you couldn't leave it at that. You had to try and publicly humiliate me. You obviously don't know anything about me. And you still continue trying to insinuate I'm some trouble maker here. I'm still confused as to your mind set. When all I was trying to do was help you, them and CP. Now you top that of by insulting Wade! Wade is one of the most generous and caring members on CP. Where do you get off?

Tex I think your head has grown to big for the Cigarpass crown you have given to yourself. The insults you layed down about me I could careless about. And if you have developed some pied piper following that agrees with your philosophy of making judgements in character that make as much sense as pissing in a fan, then more power to you and them. But nobody I know on this board is happy that your pass has been slighted. I think it's just your own eyes in the mirror looking back at yourself.

Let's just make this clear. I was responding to Wade's post of "You know what they say about karma". He made the comment, and I responded to it. He came across as saying "You get what you deserve" and I responded to it. I was not trying to insult him, and simply said that if he feels that way, there is not much I can do about it. How else was I supposed to take the comment within the context of his statement? It is much different when he says "What goes around...". But in the context of his first statment, how else was I supposed to take it? At what point does someone get the opportunity to defend themselves on here, and at what point did I insult him? I was responding to HIS comment.

I have never had anything against Wade. This was never about him, but rather Cohibasurfer. That being said, I will once again say that I have said all I am going to about that situation. We had a disagreement, and it is long over. I went through it one last time in my long post to explain the situation of the pass, as I was getting alot of negative feedback about how I handled it. I still am, and there is not too much I can do now but try to patch it up in the future. Again, I am sorry that I handled it that way, as it was mostly out of frustration. As of now, I am droping the subject, again.

Still waiting to hear back from him, but one of the many that doubt we ever will...

Don't know if I'm late in posting this. I heard from ALT a while ago about the situation. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware you dropped out of the post, and I went by the list in the pass. It left already and should reach you in a few days I imagine.

Like I said, ALT already asked me for the package details, but if you need any help/info just PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP.
