Not Your Everyday Cigar Pass

Ugh, at least you don't have an insightful picture this time :p

As for right now... It's pretty much falling in Outlaws lap for me! And here is a question for ya Outlaw.... How many people oohed and ahhed their way through the box at the shop? 15 out of place sticks... even MattR couldn't do that by himself! :p

Hollah back!

The box was opened by me, looked at with several witnesses in the general area.To be real honest I didnt even want to remove anymore of the sticks from the container than absolutely necessary,it was more of a cluster f**k than I really wanted to deal with, but I did count them and all seemed to be there according to the amount of cigars on the handwritten list in the envelope. I do WORK at the Outlaw so my ability to actually spend the time to replace cigars in bags and do a very intense inventory was not an option, even having it as long as I did. Transporting it to my home and back was not a risk I was willing to take with this many rare and expensive cigars.
I removed the 3 sticks I was trading for, placed my plays in the box.

The only other stick that was actually removed and showed to anyone was the unreleased Opus that Moki put in the pass, and it was never removed from the bag.
It was then replaced and the box was closed and remained that way until the day I shipped it. So as far as cigars in the wrong bags or being out of the bags that I dont know. If there are MISSING sticks then for that I am responsible because I was the last to have it.

Well then ??? How did this box get in that state?

Besides the mix up of bags, there are three sticks
not in the box. Whoever traded for these sticks, please tell us,
at least we will then know that they were in fact traded.

29 Cohiba Sig VI Tubos (p: Hapalee) NOT IN THE BOX
36 Vegas Robaina Unicos 2005 (p:Ginseng) NOT IN THE BOX
50 RyJ Churchill, 1999 (p:smokelaw1) NOT IN THE BOX

Other than these three sticks listed and not in the box, the
incorrectly numbered bags have been corrected, Andy will update,
and so all is good.

BTW Outlaw, just FYI, the first error I noticed was the LFD Outlaw
and LFD factory press because I wanted to trade for the LFD Outlaw.
These were in the wrong bags.

Brian

Got the box today, its resting in the humi at the shop.

Yeah $12 UTS, that would be nice, price came from the Fuente reference thread, and like I said the price on the Factory Press is minus the tob. tax. They're actually like $13.50.

I think Smokyballs may want a shot at some cigars in the pass as well as Opusxkc, I'm not sure about outlawsp, and I think MrPeat is nowhere near KC at this point. I'll let them chime in on their own though.

BTW, The selections I am plucking from the pass are going to be my Christmas Day smokes

Stanfords 90th, yeah thats a hoot! We got 'em, but IF I'm able to get my hands on any those bad boys are going up in smoke.
I was going to high lite a couple things in this post that concerned me... then while I was re-reading it. It's the whole fricken post. :sign:

As far as the siglo vi and the RyJ Church '99 - MattR swapped those... remember me busting his balls? Looks like the big softy threw in that SLR ( he knew )! Fuggin Matt!

edit: And George swapped the VR Unicos.

Looks like no missing sticks!

.....yet! LMAO!

50 RyJ Churchill, 1999 (p:smokelaw1) NOT IN THE BOX

Didn't someone take this stick?
If not, let me know, and I will send a replacemnt either to whoever wants to take it or to the end of the pass.
All packaging materials are currently packed in a box, being moved, so it wouldn't be until monday or tuesday.
Gary saw me place that in the box, but it has my name on it, and if it's missing, I will make it right.

Edit: Nevermind...I should read all the posts before replying.

If this is the case then I know where the confusion lies. All the screwing around and joking that went on during that time was fun and all that, but in the end I asked which cigars had been taken, and I understood the reponse to mean that the Sig VI and RyJ actually had not been taken. I'm not sure what the list IN the pass shows. I'll wait to hear from Matt, although this seams to be the case until I update the first post.

Andy, the list shows #29 Cohiba Sig VI taken by Matt R
as well as.......... #50 R&J Churchill taken by Matt R

However, #36 on the list shows H.Upmann SW 2001 taken by Smokelaw1
And the stick in Question, VR Unicos is on #38 taken by GGiese

I didn't refer to the list, maybe my bad. Honestly, when I saw mistakes
popping up with sticks in wrong bags, this was my concern. And of course,
I look to the posted updated list, which should, by all accounts, be accurate.

I am not going through the list, I have spent enough time on this already.
What I sent you is accurate in the box. Please email the update, I will print
it out and that is what we should use for the rest of the pass.

I am unavailable to get this pass off in the afternoon, it has to be done
this morning. If not, it will go out Saturday.

And here I was thinking about all the fun I was going to have looking at
some sticks I hadn't seen before and doing a trade to smoke one or two of
them. Take a stick, send and email and I'm done - yeah right!

Hey, you know what, shit happens, we are certainly not perfect and we live in a fucked up world.
There is no harm done, we are back on track, other then we
now have a Moki smell on our sticks

Brian

First post is updated and should be accurate. Depending on timing here, we may flip Cohibasurfer and Norcal in the order. I'll keep abreast of that and let the necessary parties know.

Any updates on this or are we still following the original participant order?

Good point! I've heard nothing so assume we follow the line unless I
hear otherwise.

Brian

I'll pm Cohibasurfer to see where he's at, and we'll have to plan on this going out tomorrow. I need to be up in Mpls today and am leaving in about five minutes, hence don't have time to figure out the correct inventory numbers etc.

Do you want me to print out the basic list, you can update the thread after?
No big deal! But, I do need to know where the pass goes.

This way we can get it off this morning.

Brian

Ok Guys, Andy has personal things he has to deal with and I don't want to delay
any longer.

I re-did the list, checked the sticks again and good thing I did
because I found another mistake that I missed earlier.

I am enclosing the new list which is basic, does not include all previous
P&T but it is correctly listed as per the contents of the box.

I have also included the original list I made with the corrections so
you can see how I received the box. Both these lists are on excel. When Andy
PM's me his email address, I'll forward them to him.

I've written "Brian" down the side of both lists. Ignore the previous lists
and it will run smoothly back to the host.

This will leave today - Michael you are up!!!

Thanks for your patience guys.

Brian

Nice job on updating the pass Brian! This thing is always fun to check in on. Always some type of drama! You guys have fun!

Brandon

Boy oh boy - look what I miss when I get wrapped up in work for a few days and can't read the boards...

Thanks for taking care of things, Brian!!!

I got to tell you, it was really hard without you George ;)

I have no doubt that someone would have got some down to earth,
see it like it is, straight talk, had you been around!

Brian

Here's the NEW list updated when it left me!

Andy, when you get back on you can move it if you wish and I
will edit this post - let me know.
