Back saver......splitting with an axe really sucks.

I enjoy splitting wood, in small quantities. Splitters are so nice if you have to split any significant amount of wood though!

I actually prefer by hand ever since I found this Ames True Temper axe that’s light, but acts like a maul. I feel like a splitter takes too long. That, and it’s harder on my back to stay hunched over low to the ground, or to pick up large logs to get them up on the rail. I can swing this thing all day.

My logs get delivered to me by Instacart and they come pre split. Hahaha

Hey now!! I’ve got a couple of nasty splinters before. That shrink wrap doesn’t always come off as easily as it looks!!
