Is that a Chibson, an Orville, or just a Japanese LP Jr. knockoff? It's a good-looking guitar, in any case. Even if it is just some no-name copy, I'd trust just about any Made In Japan guitars. For the most part, they make some good stuff over there. Chibson, on the other hand...
It should be a Deviser Co. made shop order/custom order. It was sold as such & it has no serial number, nor brand marquee on the head stock face.
It has a few subtle attributes that are clues to the maker & the seller has been offering quite a few older Deviser made guitars lately that are more easily identifiable.
Deviser has produced brands such as Bacchus, Bagtone, EVO, Headway, Momose, Ocean, Seventy Seven, Sonix, STR, etc.
Yasuo Momose started building acoustic guitars (Headway) around 1977, and Deviser Co. was created some years later.
The concept & approach of Momosesan & Deviser Co. is generally to to produce small, limited batches of hand made guitars.
Pictured below is a Momose from circa 2005 that has a Honduran Mahogany body back & neck, and a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard.
This is one of my top two favorite carved top LP types.
The LP Special type with the Bigsby pictured previously should be from about the same time frame.
