He's busy reading the scotch reviews for the last 10 minutes. I may have hooked another one. :p

Now, stop tracking my browsing! :p It is true though. I enjoy #5 and #15 on your Scotch list on a regular basis. I'll let you know about our Baltimore Crawl. I actually think it may be the 22nd.

We'll get you past those and on to the really good stuff soon enough.

Hello Mr. Jingles,

NOVA here as well, Not far from ya. As far as the bundles are concerned....I'm CP's Northern VA bundle inspector....It's my responsibility to ensure anyone that has bundles of questionable origin to inspect, test, evaluate to deternmine the quality of the cigars and report the findings for future reference.

Please contact me via email so we may begin this very inportant process.

Maybe the inspector should learn how to spell the "important" things, LOL. Sheeeesh, you would think inspector should know how to spell. So much for those VA folk.

Hey, if he knows his cigars that's good enough for me. ;)

Welcome mrjingles!, pretty good taste for this board that you have. Since you like Anejos and the Opus, I'm sure folks won't mind if you jump into a pass or two when you have the urge to do so. :D :D ;)

I'm eager to do so but thought people should get to know me a bit first. As I said, I will need some with what is an equivalent put and take.

Thanks for all the welcoming comments everyone. This seems like a real friendly community and I am glad I found it.

Can you give me a good recommendation on a bottle of scotch in the $40-$50 a bottle range?

Welcome aboard, MrJ... I live in Idaho now, but I grew up in the Eastern Panhandle of WV -- Charlestown, to be exact.

I think ya oughta drive up to his house in southern PA unannounced and ask him for some free samples :D

So what you are saying is that you read all of my reviews and nothing that I've reported on in the $40-50 range did it for you and you want some other suggestions? Have I got that right? ;) I thought it is kinda obvious if I liked something or not.

You gotta do some work too like tell me what style you like, sweet, sherry, peat, smokey and besides the two you mentioned before, what others have you liked.

See, that's the problem. I have really only had Glenlivet and JW Black Label on a regular basis. I was looking to try something new that an experienced scotch drinkers appreciates. Fact is, I don't really know what I like - other than those two. Are they sweet, sherry, peat, smokey? I have NO idea. :D I just know I like them...
