I am in no way a cigar aficionado and am new to this forum. I know this topic has probably been gone over plenty of times already but i could not find specific results when i searched for it.

So...I need to know what are the best US and dominican cigars. I assume that dominican is next best to cuban, so if im wrong about that, let me know.

I need your Top 10 lists for US and Dominican cigars. Also, please comment on price and what is the best cigar for the money. And what cigars are readily available.

Do you ever order from online websites? If so, which sites have good reputations?

thanks!

your best bet would be to use the search function for all your questions. There are many topics on "value" cigars, and If you look in the discussion and review areas you will see many reviews and discussions (I know repetitive and redundant :sign:) also check out the latest purchases thread, and the what did you smoke today thread, that will give you an idea on what the people on this board buy and smoke. If you have any specific questions, feel free to shoot me a PM. I may not know the answer, but I can try. I agree with the posts above that said many of your questions are subjective, because they are. Check out those threads I mentioned above, and search on the other questions, and you should find what oyu are looking for.

This is pretty subjective to the individual. Everyone's taste for a cigar varies and some may say Dominican is better than Nicaraguan and vice versa. You just have to pick up a couple of smokes, see what you like in fuller or milder bodied cigars, and how much time you want to take to smoke one so you know what vitola to get. Some good online retailers are Holts, Cigar International, and Cigar bid (run by CI). You can usually find a decent deal on C-Bid, but don't get hooked on it or you'll end up spending some serious cash.

Top 25 Cigar reviews

Try here. Go to review DB and search your little heart away

Tim

I highly recommend that you DO NOT go to "top 25 cigar" because it's an asshat site run by a complete piece of $hit.

Hmmm, never knew that...I frequent it to get additional info I cannot find here....aren't the reviews posted by regular guys like us? Does it really matter then? I'm not purchasing from them....do you have an alternate site that you recommend?

CigarPass

I think it does indeed matter because like I said, the site is run by a complete douchebag and quite a few of the "reviews" are from people who don't really know much about cigars and just repeat things they either read in magazines or regurgitate from other "reviewers" who also don't know much either. The reviews here on average are far better than top 25.

Go introduce yourself in the proper forum or these guys are going to eat you alive(sharks smelling new blood in the water)! Who gives a shit what the best country of origin is anyway? As long as the cigar is made properly and it tastes good I could give a crap less if it came from the DR, Honduras, Nicaragua or Cuba! Why do you need to know the best? The "best" is an opinion that is not shared by all. It's all subjective. I know, I do this for a living. I can't tell you how many Macanudos and Acids I sell in a given day that I wouldn't smoke on a dare. Are those people wrong in there belief that those are the best cigars? No, because it's right for them. You need to smoke some cigars and form your own opinion about what you like not some stuffed shirts choice on what he thinks you should think is best. Newbie Sampler thread is what you should do. You get a chance to do a transaction with an established member for some quality smokes and learn a little something about what CP is all about!

By the way, you posted this in the wrong forum ;)

Absolutely, but you are still an unkind person.

NA

unkind? UNKIND? Hell, I slow down in school zones, swerve for bunny rabbits, practice random acts and shit, don't smoke in hospitals, and hardly ever make employees cry. I'm all kindness and light, man. If I was any kinder, I'd be a Tompkins county hydroponic cross breed of white widow, G-13 and bubbleberry.

Hah! That's yer superego talkin', yer id knows better but it's locked in the basement.
