Netflix and other shows you are watching

There's more than 1?

Yeah, it's getting up there, with Fast and the Furious. 6 total Scream Movies, with a Scream 7 coming out in 2026?

We watched the newest "Scream" over the weekend. It was released in 2022 and I had no idea there was a Scream VI released in 2023.

Neve Campbell is hot as ever, though!

Mostly animated stuff right now: Just finished watching Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft (it was pretty good) and currently watching Zack Snyder's Twilight of the Gods. Waiting for new seasons on The Diplomat and another animated series, Arcane.

Watching TOTG right now, me and my wife really like it

La Grande Maison Tokyo on Netflix
One of my friends described this show as a "Japanese lo-fi version of The Bear" and I think that's pretty spot on. The show follows two chefs as they start with nothing and try to build a Michelin Three star French cuisine restaurant in Tokyo.

Alex Cross on Prime. I’ve read a lot of James Patterson books and Alex Cross is one of his better characters. The series was good and worth watching but as always, it doesn’t come close to the complexities of the book.

Netflix, called " Justice ", set in the non photogenic section of Poland, about an old-off the force cop who is needed to solve a crime. No names you know, but well done, no cgi effects, but real country, real people types. It is a movie, not series. Dziękuję.

Killing Eve is a great show! Oak island needs to just go away. It was interesting for the first 5000 episodes..assuming this is “the curse of oak island”. Should be renamed the curse of “watching” oak island lol.

Dune: Prophecies
Landman
Gundam
Yellowstone

The crazy theories get old quickly, but there’s enough actual history that it’s kept me engaged, though I’m a season or two behind. Not everything needs to be Templars.

When I was much younger, I read the actual story, what I believe was the original story in “readers digest”. The little 8x5 size “book”. Read it on the shitter (ya, sue me but you all do this, and cell phones weren’t even invented at this time) at my grandparents farm house.

It was really interesting at the time!! So when they made a tv program about, I was all in, already hooked! But over the years it’s apparent it’s just become a money grab for the laginas and their family. Heavily sponsored and commercialized.

I know they have spent quite a lot of their own money, but I imagine they have recouped a lot of it as well from the show and the side gigs like the vineyards. No doubt they really want to find treasure, but it’s time to give it up. It’s not there, probably never was there, so everything they do now is to make it seem exciting and string us along show to show.

At least Geraldo and Al Capones vaults had the decency to cut bait when it was apparent it was a dead end, nothing burger. Time for these guys to follow suit.

See, I disagree. I too read the story as a kid, but the show fascinates me. I wish there was more than 10 minutes of fresh material an episode, but that's why I usually catch it a day later. I can ffwd through all the crap. I like how they are dating the wood samples and doing the xrf on the metals. Something was happening on that island, and it was more than just a primitive Bucky's gas station.

Ya. A long time ago, people lived there. They are finding the remnants of that. But call me cynical..
