Hell, I would have to go straight to the breath test!! That standing on one foot and walking a straight line can be a little tricky if you get a little older. The report said you got five, the sad part is the soo many you don't get. It is a joke until someone you love gets killed by one of these guys or gals. Good job... :thumbs:

It was a joint effort with LSP I think they transported 5 and we had 5 or 6. At the first of the video when you see the State Trooper take off he was chasing one who came threw the checkpoint at about 40 and never stopped not even when I threw my flashlight at him they got him down the road. Stupid move broke the bulb in my light. :blush:

The only thing I despise more than piss tests are checkpoints.

They both make me feel like I've been raped.

Next it will be cigars. Are we gonna take it up the wazoo for that, too.

Like Mellie said "Good job occifer" My best record to date is 2 repeat t-w-o stops on a memorial day weekend at 3 am. First stop for a busted tail light ( recite the alphabet from L to V) followed by a DWI check point 1 mile down the highway! Passed both thanks to St. Pauli Girl NA! I had been at the party since 10 AM but didn't drink alcoholic beverages after 10 PM.

Moral of the story... Drink hearty but dont over party!

Interesting observation...Why do you feel like you have been raped by going through a checkpoint to weed out drunk drivers off the road. A checkpoint might save your life or the life of someone you love.

You do not have a right to drive. It is a privledge. You willingly accept the fact the government sets rules to regulate drivers. Implied Consent laws and going through checkpoints are a couple. If you don't wish to comply with rules...Walk.

Lets tackle the piss test thing...I for one do not want to work with a bunch of dope heads. Your employer does not want a bunch of dope heads working for him. If you are a dope head I suggest working for someone that hires dope heads. Piss tests weed out people that are a liability to the company. People that take drugs on the job have no business working. Maybe you do not mind working next to a guy running a punch machine while high...I would.

Let me tell you what feeling raped really feels like. Put yourself in the shoes of the parents of someone that is 15 years old. That 15 year old is killed by a drunk driver or by a guy driving a pizza delivery truck while smoking some meth. That my friend is a real feeling of rape.

You should think before you type. You come off as ignorant on the subject.

Never did an interview...But the camera has found me a couple times as well as pics in the local rag. Jeff... You would have looked good with a Double Corona in your hand. :thumbs:
 
Easy there Big Guy...no one took your cigar away!

You can throw the checkpoints out the window if and when you agree to the following:

"I promise that if and when a drunk driver decides to take the life of my mother, father, daughter, son, granddaughter, grandson, and/or any other relative or close friend that I will NOT blame the Police or any local Law Enforcement Agency and will accept Full blame myself for their untimely passing."


Whenever I think about the consequences of not having "checkpoints" I feel like someone has reached inside my chest and pulled out my entire existence. :(
