Hey Guys I'm in Cancun and loving every minute of it. Damn Stogie, I am going to need a bigger box. That was uncalled for, thanks man! :thumbs:

On a side note, I've been afraid to buy any cigars here as I am not sure if they are real. I have seen two Glass top Cohiba boxes, anybody interested, LOL. I had a Quintero corono size from '98 on Thursday. It was damn good and I'm not sure if anybody is going through the trouble of faking quinteros. Probably machine made, but again from '98.

***CANCUN UPDATE***

Went to LCDH yesterday, that has been moved by the way. I was able to pick up 2 Montecristo EL's. They don't have a year on them but the box said '01. The new EL's would say EL 2003, etc. Does that mean the ones I got were from the first year they did EL's?

I´m having one tonight. They look beautiful. They have a little white stuff on them, bloom I hope. Never had or seen a cigar with bloom before, we´ll see.

No one has commented on my puts and takes. Is this ok? Please let me know if you see something that isn't right. I have already got confirmation but I would like to hear what you think too. Tell me before it goes out.
 
Hey SD, I honestly don't know much about the cigars you put. If you already got confirmation that's fine by me. There are many many more knowledgeable than I.

As for coventrycat, that's a good question. He got a really good endorsement from Dave. He should be ok. What do the veterans in this pass think?

It's almost 11 p.m. and I'm still at work. I forgot I had his phone number, duh. I'm going to call him tomorrow. If not, we skip him.
 
My hard drive died on my computer died and then when I hooked up a new computer, I had no internet access because of phone line problems that were finally fixed yesterday. If someone did try to call me, the phone would have just rang and rang. Just send the box, I still live at the same address I've been at for 42 years.
 
Glad to see you back coventrycat. I will try to get it out in the morning, but don't hold your breath. We are having a baby shower tomorrow and things will be very busy. If I can sneak away, I will but it will probably be Monday.
