When you dip net them are they starting to decompose yet?I remember fishing for coho and chinook in michigan and when they got a certain way up the river they started to decompose, thats when you could snag hook them and dip net them.Swissy said:jcpyro said:Crossing fingers and guessing 63.

DING DING DING DING!!
We have a winner! It's Friday, early, but I'll be busy all day at work. Since this is the EXACT number of red salmon we caught, there's no reason to wait until this evening.
jcpyro, you got PM!!
Congrats, and fish fry at jcpyro's place! we'll work out the details as to when he wants it and when he'll be there to accept it.
Good Guess! Here's the breakdown
1st trip to China Poot bay = 2 (all rod & reel)
2nd trip to China Poot bay = 7 (1 rod, 6 dip net)
3rd trip to China Poot bay = 12 (all dip net)
4th trip to China Poot bay = 12 (all dip net)
1st trip to Copper River = 0 (that sucked!)
2nd trip to Copper River = 30 (all dip net)
GRAND TOTAL = 63
and that's just the reds... not included are the kings and the silvers!!
