It is such a gift to be able to be a part of the community here at CP.

So, I am having a long overdue contest celebrating nothing more than my happiness at being here.

However, with times as they are, some of us could use some good old fortune.

So this contest is open to the first ten posts if:

You spose is out of work
You are out of work
You have fallen on any hard times at all, no need to explain, Just write in the post "I'm IN" and send me your addy

New or old to CP, it does not matter. Just post "I am unemployed for now" or "Hey, I'm a little down on luck" and PM me your addy. You do not need to reveal your story unless it helps to get it out.

Out of ten, my wife has picked one number at random, the post which is the corresponding number will get a nice sampler from me.

This is not meant to be an "open your hand for charity" contest, just a way to PIF, nothing more. We all could be in the unemployment boat any time, so we might as well be positive about it, you deserve a cigar.

I am not technically unemployed but it is a very slow season right now in my job. Good luck to all you guys with no jobs, I hope everything works out for you.

I am in the same boat as Jonesy, But thank you for this contest Matt. Its a wonderfull thing to do for the brothers who are in hard times right now.

I hope no one is being shy because they feel like this is a hand out. It is not, just a PIF, nothing else.

Anthem - I like the idea; a nice way to say "hang in there, brother" to someone that could use an "attaboy".

Tell you what - have your wife pull another number and I'll send 2nd place a nice fiver. PM me the name and addy and I'll take it from there.

That is most generous and we will have a second place winner.

Now lets get these other guys to put up some names.

Maybe by tonight if there is not more repsone we will open it to salary cuts and sposes out of work.
