Mike, SirSmokes... you know I love you both but Damn!!!
Mike. You are speaking out of turn. You did not see the box and cannot accurately comment on it. This was not a case of not knowing what to do. It was, as Dixie said, the worst packing job I have seen. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know how to send something in the mail. SirSmokes has been in numerous passes. He has been here longer than most (if not all) who are involved in his pass. He participated in my pass, so I know he saw how it was packed. That should be enough to give a hint as to how it should be done. He was also in the Virgin Pass and the Just Another Cigar Pass. Again, this is not a case of ignorance.
Anyway, if this was the first pass... I can't recall ever sending any glassware or dinerware in the mail to anyone but I think I could dig real deep into my common sense and figure out that if they weren't packed tight, they would bounce around and contact each other and possibly break!
Maybe Dixie was too hard on smokes. They are SSA's sticks, but we all have to pick from those sticks and pay the postage on them to send it out to the next guy. Now mike, you tell me why in the hell anyone would want to participate and each spend $8+++ on postage to look through a box of tobacco crumbs and then be expected to choose one and then add a few extras?
