I have not. I am scared to smoke it cause when I do, it will be gone!!! :(

I thought that my wife and I would take an evening real soon and smoke a couple good sticks and that would be one of them. I can't wait to try it. :D

This is the crappiest packing job I've seen in years :angry: I'm truly horrified and pissed that you would even think of sending out cigars like that. It isn't our responsibility as players to better your packaging - that's pretty much your only responsibility in leading a pass. You used newspaper (and not enough of it) to "protect" the tupperdor in the box. Then, the cigars are flying around loose in the tupperdor. I understand that you're poor, but come on! You could have at least put newpaper in the tupperdor if that's all you had. Now, a bunch of your cigars are beaten up. Yes, really....and that's your fault!

I have repacked it in a new box with tons of my bubblewrap. I have also wrapped the cigars in the tupper' in my bubblewrap. I have also taken the same cigars I was planning on despite the fact that a couple of them are in ****ty condition and cracked (the 1066 and La Vieja), just because I feel sorry for you. I didn't make it a point to examine any of the sticks I knew I didn't want, except I couldn't help but notice the horrible condition the Cohiba is in. I can't feel too bad, because, unless the other guys in the pass unpacked your stuff and sent it to Stack the way he gave it to me, then it is you fault. :angry:

Note for others in the pass: I didn't ship the box to Dixie, I handed it to him in a parking lot. I didn't take any extra time to fix the box because I knew it would be safe because the mailman didn't have to handle it. I guess I should have fixed it before giving it to BO but I didn't. Again, it is exactly like I got it in the mail Thursday from Texan.

Sorry about that guys. I really thought that my packing job was enough to do the job. In the future I will make sure that I do a better job (this is the first pass that I have started), I guess I just misjudged the amount of packing needed for the trips it would take.

I apologize in advance to any dudes who found a cigar that they wanted, but it got messed up.

Again, it isn't our responsibility - not mine, not yours, not ALostTexan's etc. My repacking it was the "nice" thing, not the "right" thing. You guys before me did the right thing.

Nice job Dixie. Until I started shipping and receiving 'gars through the mail I never realized how fragile are little friends are. You really have to pack them tight to avoid intransit damage. I think the key is to pack them with enough bubble and or foam peanuts that there is no movement when you shake the tuppers or box. Mail handlers don't handle with care :p Live and learn :D

Do you want to hear something funny? Well not so much funny as annoying. Well not so much annoying as rude. Well insufferable, really... :angry:

I'm out again. This time for good and I'm sorry. I didn't want to pass up the pass, but my plans are simply to tentative and I don't want the box to be lost in the suffle. I'm moving from Reform to D.C. next week and my addressing will be in limbo.

So, sorry for the in-out in-out business and thanks for putting up with my nonsense. :(

:D Confirming. Back from NC, never did make it to JR's in Selma, looked like it would have been around a 6 hour round trip with NC's lower speed limits and lack of freeways. Also, when I called them, was told that they don't even have everything that's in the catalog, never mind stuff that isn't. So, guess I'll stay with online.

Will definitely be here for my slot in the rotation, no plans to travel again until next May (it will be here by then, right?).

Blair, sorry you have to miss this one too. Hope you get to settle down someplace soon. :(
