Hey Gary, if I hadn't said it said .... thanks for being in the pass.

FedEx tried to deliver the box but no one was home, I'll sign the receipt and leave it for the FedEx guy and I'm sure they will leave it tomorrow.

Pass received, inspected and will be on the way tomorrow.

DC to follow.

I thought I better take this opportunity to check in...

Things have been crazy around here lately, and I really don't see any end in sight.

The company I work for has been acquired by another. The quote was "Nothing will change, everything will remain the same as it was." My big fat ass! I now have three bosses, no usable insurance (Coventry, only two counties in Kansas are not in their plan, I live in one of them), I had to sign an acceptable use policy for the computer (guess what, I am violating it right now!), and I had to sign a form saying that I cannot take a job in which I will compete with my current place of business, nor go to work for any of our current or potential customers for a period of three years, regardless of the circumstances of my departure.

Enough bitching.

I will be running all over hells half acre for the foreseeable future, mostly in jerk water towns where internet and hotels never meet. I will try to check in if I can.

Norcal, if you would send me your phone number in a PM, I will keep you apprised of where I am and what is going on if I can't get online. I believe I sent you my phone numbers, if not let me know and I will resend.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Thanks Alan.

Well, the wifey just called me at work to tell me that a big "Dell" box has been delivered.
Anybody know what it might be?
I won't be able to check the contents until late tonight (early tomorrow morning) but to keep things moving, here are my proposed P&T's.
Take / Put
#18 AF Cuban Beli / AF Double Chateau Fuente Natural
#20 Padron 3000 Mad. / Punch Gran Puro Rancho
#32 Zino Plat.Scept.G.M. / Opus X Super Belicoso
#63 VSG Torpedo / AF Reserva XTra Viejo #49
#60 Cuaba Salomone'04 / Cuaba Salomone'06*

*I was underwhelmed with the flavor of the '06 and would like to try one with a little age on it. Fairly even swap?

Looking forward to any comments.
-Guy

The pass arrived and it's a beautiful thing!
The 40th Ann. Padrons are freakin' gorgeous! I wish I had something of comparable value to swap.

Two minor issues:
#54 is listed as an Opus X Super Beli. I believe it is actually a Perfecxion #2 because it is about 6.5" long and the Super Beli should be around 5.6".

Second issue is my bad.
I offered what I thought was an AF XTra Viejo #49 for the VSG Torp.
It is actually a #48 which is STILL not equal value for the Ashton, so I would like to change that "put" to an AF Hemingway Masterpiece Maduro for the Ashton VSG Torpedo.

Awaiting y'all's decision.
Those cd's are piling up too!

Dearest Wilky...are you ready?

Hey Mr. Contest winner ..... DC#0306 1070 0000 8767 5853

Arrived and in fine shape. Thank you!

Also - the " Hoyo de Monterey Coronation" from the pass....it took a turn for the worse this weekend.

The poor guy caught a fever and was just burning up!

The overall trade looks pretty good but I'm not sure about the value that is added to the '04 Cuaba for the age, anybody else?

If I were to consider those two sticks in trade, frankly I'd consider them close enough in value to be the same. While two years should make a difference in how the sticks smoke, I'd say the value differential on a single stick basis is minimal. I'd be inclined to let it go especially if the the rest of the pairs are a bit richer on the PUTs side, in total.

Thank you all.
Once again, a beautiful pass David!
I'll re-number the "puts" and get it off to Dela-where? tomorrow.
DC# to follow.
Enjoy everybody! :D
