Humidor Problem

I soaked my beads in a secret mix of herbs.
Now I have the luxury of an Opus or Anejo any time, but with the taste of an Acid!

i have also noticed my beads tend to shrink when subjected to cold or when i take them swimming, and in the summer, they tend to sag more than usual. guess the atmospheric conditions really do come into play!

Do you guys just toss your beads in the washing machine in an old sock tied up? ...or do you use a nylon stocking?

And does Oxyclean work as well on beads as it does on the rest of the wash???

You can thank your dartos tunic muscle for that!

The MOST important thing is to make sure you thoroughly air-dry them suckers before you put you beads anywhere near your cigars.

Actually, I think this is why Viper sells the mesh bags for the beads. Mine fit nicely.

Being Italian, I learned a trick a long time ago involving grappa. If you soak raisons in grappa, they absorb the alcohol and you get great tasting and alcoholic raisons afterwards. I applied this theory to viper's beads so instead using just distilled water I added some grappa to the beads. The result -- great grappa flavoured cigars! I find this works best on Fuentes for some reason.

Well, we've now come full circle. I still use panty hose.

It's fun to stuff your beads into pantyhose!

gonna have to have the wife give a pair up and try them...thanks brandon

You guys worry too much about your beads. Me I just wait until my beads have the flavor of cedar and my cigars already mixed in. Then I break them up and snort them. I get the flavor of my cigars without actually having to smoke any. Works great!

It is even better if you snort them at the right altitude via a calibrated altimeter. Something to do with the humidity, I think. Always take your beads when you go flying is my motto.
