John, I am not taking this to PM. I think it would be better at this point to just let the sunshine in. Here is the deal as I see it.
We have a pretty good little community here. I have gotten a lot out of this place and I think you have, too. And I haven't added anything significant to it. Other people made it the way it is before I ever Googled this place. No one needs the cigars in my humidor. No one needs to read how I detect the subtle nuance of cedar in the Connies I smoke. No one cares that I have been a loyal Yankee fan all the way back to 1996. You and I have benefited from others free of charge attention and input into it. Thoughtful rules have evolved, refined over time from bad experiences. And you and I have reaped the benefits.

And because we are all human there are the occasional problems. These have to be addressed. It is against forum ettiquette to be a dick. Well, that's not true. Then we would only have about 6 boring members. Let me start again. It is against forum ettiquette to the kind of dick that doesn't promptly and carefully fulfill his obligations.
No one forces anyone to be in a pass, make a trade, or be involved in any way. There is no rule against posting something stoopid. Every kind of BOTL from FOG to FNG is accepted within these hallowed pixels. The important thing is once a commitment is made that one's word is kept. THAT is what makes this little thing work, IMHO. And when just a few fudge that thing it screws thing up a lot. And when repeat offenders don't get a public tune up then the overall trust between all of us is diminished. The community diminishes in value.
Do I think you are a theif? No.
Do I think you drag your feet to the point of disrespect? That is my current thinking.
It doesn't matter how many successful and prompt interactions you may have had with members here. In my opinion anyone with more than one or two of these kind of issues in one year is peeing on our shoes. And you and I haven't even been here a year and you seem to have more than one or two of these problems with members here. They all seemed to not want to make an issue of it. Look what that got. I don't want lower standards.
Better, at this point, for you to face your slacker ways. They are bordering on Idunnowhat. Two months to complete your end of a deal? Unacceptable. No excuse is good enough. Not someone I would want to deal with. And not the kind of community I would want to particpate in if it is tolerated.
