Could I use poplar hobby boards to make some friction fit dividers?

My shelf is 21 long by 15 deepI would say that wouldn’t be an issue depending on how specific you are.
I am pretty specific and would not introduce a wood that could fluctuate with moisture density. Whether it could affect anything is unknown.
I have spare humidor dividers if you have measurements of drawer interiors I can see how well what I have may fit. I am more than happy to send them to you if that helps the project!

Looking at he SC. But shipping cost more than the wood...that is why I asked about poplar, just for the dividers
