My 15 year old daughter is coming to visit for 3 weeks, and arrives tomorrow. I'm on vacation after work tomorrow, and will be off for a week!

Happy that I didn’t get heat stroke while working on my deck during the last two days in oppressive heat and humidity. And I got the work done! I’m much more tanner as a result.

One Leg Of Fury.
I was in a bit of a funk the last few days -- don't know why. However, today I caught up on some automotive stuff I've been putting off with my car, broke a sweat washing it, and now I'm feeling much more like myself.
Tonight I watched the fireworks over Pearl Harbor with my daughter and her boyfriend from the top of our 120 foot tall control tower at the museum on Ford Island. It was amazing... you could see all the displays going off around the island from up there. Quite a memory and story for later for them both.

dropped the step kids off for 3 weeks of sleep-away camp. And this camp immerses them with no communication. you can email and they can eventually respond and they only get 1 phone call towards the middle of their stay. #kidsgonewegone #3weeksoffreedom #dontcalluswellcallyou

Same here, was backpacking with 11 kids from work all weekend then had to pull the second half of a graveyard 6 hours after getting back, and then work all morning.
Was an amazing trip though.

That's awesome! I just brought my kids up for my dad's 80th birthday no Monday. So great to cherish the moments and continue making memories!
