It has been a brutal week. I picked up a new contract and Monday was my first day dealing with it. I have worked 8 to 10 every day this week. We are in the process of finding the right employee, but until then it’s a daily grind!!! Anyways I’m happy for the weekend. Last night I enjoyed a few cigars with Pete Johnson

Today I’m enjoying a crawfish boil with my family and friends at the local brewery.

after a week of travel and house guests we are finally back to routine. Great weather and some cigars to relax.

My daughter does some modeling here and was chosen for the cover of the official Hawaii tourism brochure/booklet for Maui this month:



I was very happy when I stumbled upon these at the Kauai airport on the way home last week. I started pointing it out to people walking by: "Hey! I know you don't care, but that's my daughter!"

Haven't had much time for a cigar recently, but we are getting our (concrete) backyard ready for spring with some custom built waist high planter beds with caged protection for 36sq ft of edible gardens, bought a 6 burner BBQ, some patio furniture, plenty of potted plants/flowers, and some olive/citrus trees and dirt for the planters are coming in the next 2 weeks... before and after photos to come.

After two long and busy weeks, I was able to steal some time yesterday to go to my local shop for 4 hours and smoke with friends. I returned back to the house, refreshed and the house didn’t burn down in my absence- contrary to my concerns. Today we had a Easter egg hunt with a bunch of friends which was a ton of fun. I’m ready for this week.

The long search for a slide in camper for my Dakota has ended. Now to gut and rebuild (and maybe a little surgery so it will fit between the wheel wells...)
