Happy Thread

Nick, Happy Anniversary! 25 years is wonderful. You are a lucky man, and she a lucky woman. Keep up the good effort to make eachother happy. Enjoy!

We graduated a good chunk of our team last year, and are really talented, but young. Thought we might struggle a little this year as they grow up. Have 4 sophomores starting both ways. Took the best team in the state to the wire tonight though. Had a chance with 4th and goal from the 5 with no time left but couldn't pull it off. So f****ng proud of our kids. They had to dig themselves out of hole after hole and just kept scrapping. We play about 14 kids, a lot of their kids don't play both ways they probably play 30, so our boys had to battle. It was awesome, proud dad. Hopefully we get to play them again.

Can't believe I almost forgot with the rest the excitement. After both teams called timeout before the last play of the game, we were in the middle of our cadence and the lights went out for probably 20 minutes. 🤣

Feeling surprisingly spry today after walking 36 holes and then coaching the longest football game in high school history yesterday.
 
We are sitting by the fire, no lights, and heard something 30 feet behind us. We called the dogs, they were at our feet, so we knew it was a bear.

Everybody turned on their flashlight and shined toward the bear, it just walked away.
