Good morning all and yes, the java is on. As most of you know, yesterday the temps reached 98 degrees and it was quite humid. Today they are predicting even hotter so everyone better drink a lot of water to replenish your systems. As soon as I get off of work, I'll be headin' to the pool for a dip to cool of and hopefully enjoy a ceegar in the shade as well. Hope all of you do the same and stay cool........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
The java is up on this hazy over cast morning in DC. It is a day that promises to be close, if not actually, to 100 deg. The humidity will be high. Stay cool and, if you can, enjoy a good one in doors. It is too hot outside!! :thumbs:
 
Already 82 here and it isn't even 8:30 yet. Probably nothing like what you western folks are getting but our humidity is making it pretty close so everybody take care and drink plenty of fluids if you're going to be outside. I'm starting with my 3rd cup of coffee :)
 
Well I got off at midnight from work and am back at it as of 6:30am...it's now just before 8am central and it's already 78 degrees...with 79% humidity...i am drinking vitamin water this morning *how healthy* and eating yogurt...that's about as fun as my morning is gonna get woohoo!!

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day. The coffee is on and it looks like bagels are on this morning's menu as it's too hot and humid to eat anything heavy this morning. Today should be the last of the string of hot ones as they are predicting rain for today / tonight which should drop things back down into the 80s. I hope everyone is doing okay and trying to enjoy a favorite or two if at all possible........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Top of the day to all. We have reasonably clear skies in DC. The weather was brutal yesterday but it rained last evening dropping some of the humidity out of the air. We expect a slightly cooler day today. Hope everyone has a good hump day with a chance to light some good ones. Enjoy!! :thumbs:
 
Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, after last night's rain I can definitely tell the temps dropped a bit as I have the windows open and it's roughly 65 degrees out. Perfect temp and I only wish that it stays this way. Today is Thursady and that means only one thing. We'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar tonight to enjoy a few cold ones and a couple of tasty ceegars. If your in the vicinity and have a couple of hours to take a break, stop on over and join us and if your too far away I hope you get to enjoy a couple of cigars anyway........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning all and TGIF. The coffee is on and I'll be headin' over to the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) in a little bit for some good Army chow. Last night we had a great time at Schlesinger's with a good 15 to 20 regulars hangin' out and enjoying some fine cigars and cool drinks. They just received 4 boxes of the new 2007 Camacho Liberty and they are selling them quick. I call my brother Frank (Big100HD) and he's ordering a complete box this morning from Glynna as he does every year. Also, they just went through 3 boxes of the Opus X 3 pack tin and I had to pick up the last one they had in stock. Here is one that I found on ebay:

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Startin' the day with an all american breakfast with eggs and all the fixin's. Then later on today one of my nephews is gettin' married and you all know that there will be plenty of family and friends, tasty foods, cool drinks and of course superb cigars. I've already taken off tommorrow as a precaution just in case we over indulge and I won't be 100% ready to work. I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy as well......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Congratulations on the wedding Stogieman!! Enjoy a few for the rest of us. Here in DC it will be a hot and humid one. We are expecting thundershowers in the evenings for the next couple of days due to the instability in the atmosphere. Hello all and it will be only a few more days till I get my sports / computer room back but it's always nice havin' house guests stay over. Sax, I have a feeling that we're gonna have the same weather up here at West Point as well and I know it's only a matter of time till we get that great autum weather that we are all use too. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is still on. A number of us just got back from the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) and had some good Army chow. It doesn't look like it's going to be a busy day today as the boss took it off and our schedule is free. Hopefully the weather will be nice this afternoon so we can sit out and enjoy a cigar and discuss what we plan on getting done here in the office (Installation Operation Center). Good morning everyone, just poured my 1st cup of joe and I plan on enjoying the whole pot this morning catching up on all the cigar boards as our house guest went home yesterday and I have my spare room back. It's gonna be a beautiful day today with temps in the low 80s and the humidity staying down as well. My wife Beth and I may stop by a local winery today, afterwards relax at her brothers house by the pool side and then later on this evening partake in a BBQ at her sisters. Since Hank (Devil Doc) reminded us that it is Ernest Hemingway's B-day, I'll ensure that I have a good variety of Hemingways with me to enjoy during the day. I hope all of you have a great day as well and enjoy a cigar or two when you get the chance........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Had a great day yesterday filled with excellent cigars, tasty BBQ, cool drink and most importantly I was with my friends and family. Since there's no NASCAR race today, Beth and I will stop by the Black Forest Inn and sit in there Beer Garden and sample a few german beers.
