Good morning everyone and yes, the coffee is on for this week's hump day. Today, I have the pleasure of assisting the West Point museum curator in inventoring all 1500+ weapons in stock. It should take a good day and a half and if I see one or two or three, etc. that catches my eye, it might take a bit longer as I'll have to check it out and all. Anyway, I hope all of you have a super day and smoke a favorite or two......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. I see that the temps dropped into the 40s last night and cooled things down quite a bit. It was nice to sleep under the covers last night all bundled up and all but as the attached link below, you can see that things are definitely on the rise:

Top of the morning all. Here in DC we have clear skies with temps in the 60s this morning rising to the 80s today. A great day to smoke one outside. Hope that everyone has a great one with time to enjoy a couple. :thumbs:
 
Top of the morning to all on this wonderful TGIF. They say that today in DC the temp will reach a high 90s. It will be a hot one today but the weekend promises to be cooler. Hope that everyone has a good last day of work and has a hell of a weekend planned. May you get the chance to enjoy some good smokes.

Good morning everyone and yes, the java just finished perkin'. It looks like it's gonna be another beautiful day today with plenty of sun and heat as well. This afternoon around 3:30, we're throwin' a surprise 65th B-Day party for Steve (one of the main salesman at Schlesinger's - Hudson Valley Cigars) and the best thing is that he has no clue. It should be a great time with all the regulars showing up and his family and freinds all will be there too. I hope all of you have a great Saturday and enjoy a few of your favorites........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning everybody and happy Sunday to all. Hope you get to do some BBQing along with enjoying a favorite cigar or two and wash it all down with a few cold ones. We had a great time at Steve's surprise party yesterday fill with friends amd family, tasty foods and beverages and of course great ceegars as well......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Oh yeah, the Yankees now have a 5 game winning streak!!!!

wow you get up early! I've gotta open this morning at my work...Starbucks...so yes, the coffee will be burning!! Hope everyone has a good one too!
 
Good morning all and Happy Hump Day. I've got a fresh pot of coffee on and it looks like bagels are on this morning's breakfast menu. Today is a very special day here at West Point as our Deputy Garrison Commander (DGC) gets appointed to the Senior Executive Service (SES):

This will make history here as our DGC will be the 1st person to ever make it to that level from West Point. The SES is the civilian equivalent to a one star General in the military. The website above will explain it more in depth for your information. A 3 star General is flying in today to promote her to that level so you know it's going to be a big dog and pony show all over post. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, the Yankees won another game last night which makes it 8 in a row and the Red Sox lost so we're 8 1/2 games behind them. A group of us are going to the Sunday night game, Yankess versus the Mets at Yankees Stadium and hopefully by then we should be with in 5 or 6 games of the Sox. Anyway, being this Thursday, we'll be over at Schlesingers Cigar Bar around 7 PM for a couple of cigars and a few cold ones. If your in the area, stop on over and join us. Well, the Yankees won their 9th straight today with a 7 - 1 over the D-Backs. Now I definitely have a reason to smoke one of my favorites this evening at Schlesingers as they are on a season high 0f 9 in a row......... :D :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning all and TGIF. The coffee is brewin' and I'm gonna probably head over to the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) for some good Army chow this morning. Hopefully they have a good batch of S.O.S. going along with some lump free grits. We had a great time last night at Schlesingers smokin' and jokin' for a good 3+ hours and I'm sure that went on for a while longer after I left for sure. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and gets to enjoy a few of their favorites......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

The weather in DC is rather cool, about in the 60s but will get to the 90s for Father's day. Good day all and yes, the coffee is kickin'. A number of us regulars are going over to D's house today for his annual summer BBQ. Will be filled with tons of food, cool drinks and yes, tasty cigars. I should be a great time as always and hopefully we get some pics to post later. I watched the Yankees versus Mets last night and I'm sure we'll take today's match up. Beth my wife and a number of other are going to tommorro night's game which should be a super match up of pitching. Well, a Happy Father's day to all. Weather in DC will be in the low 90s. Hope that all you dads out there get a chance to enjoy the day with loved ones and a few good smokes. Have a good one.
 
Good morning all and as Sax stated, Happy Father's Day to all. Well the coffee is almost done brewin' and after church I'mm probably make a solid brunch to hang us over till my wife Beth and I head down to the Bronx to catch this evening's Yankees / Mets game. We're meeting my buddy down there who acquire 14 tickets and a dozen of them are taking a luxury party bus that we will meet down there and tailgate prior to the game. Yesterday's party at "D's" house was nonstop BBQing ranging from raw oysters / clams, hotdogs, hamburgers, steak, ribs, sword fish, steamers, lobsters, lasagna and all sorts of other salads and pastas. This went on from 1:oo in the afternoon and at 9:00 last night there were a good 40 people there that were still about to eat and who knows when the party ended. John Conroy from General Cigar showed up and donated 3 nice boxes of cigars and of course everyone came with their travel humis and bags of special cigars. Anyway, hope everyone has a great day and GO YANKEES.............. :) :thumbs: :cool:
