I feel for you on that one, I gave up the booze 11 years ago, and if you tried to take away the espresso and the cigars, well some one might just get HURT.

On tap today, good food great cigars (that I am not paying for) and Friends for the big game. Hope you all have much the same.

I know that we had an easy December but let's not make up for it now in Febrary. It's too cold to go outside and smoke a cigar so I'll see you local S/BOTL at Schlesinger's on Thursday if not sooner. Just sipping a cup of jave as the new week begins. Organizing my thoughts as I plan for the week. It is a cold day in New York. We have 7 deg F but with wind chill it is more like -10 deg F. Hope everyone has a great apres SuperBowl week. Stay warm, except you BOTL in Florida!! Enjoy one for us! :cool:
 
Good morning all, coffee is on and bagels are on this morning's menu. Not too much going on this week except I'm trying to stay warm since it's a brisky 7 degrees out right now and breezy. Hopefully it starts to warm up soon cause this is not good for an ole' man's bones and all :D . I hope all of you are doing great and enjoy a couple of your favorites this week........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Tuesday morning, the coffee is up, the sun is still sleeping along with the rest of the house. It is quiet and just organizing my day. Today we have meetings, meetings, meetings. Wish all a great day. Stay warm out there as today is about 5 deg. Ouch. :blush:
 
Good morning all and happy hump day. The coffee is on and well deserved since it's only 9 degrees out and I've been up since 4 AM. I'm plannin' on stoppin' over at the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) for some good Army chow this morning and hopefully they have a good batch of SOS on. Anyway, I hope all of you are staying warm and get to enjoy a couple of your favorites as well......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
The coffee is on and filling the house with the aroma of a good brew. The sun is still out catching a few along with the rest of the family. I am enjoying the silence as I organize the rest of the week and enjoy that we are at hump day. Have a great day to one and all. Stay warm out there.

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. We have a pretty much busy day today with a meeting with the Garrison Commander at 0930, then a dry run / walk thru for today's Garrison Commander's Quarterly Awards Ceremony which will take place at the Eisenhour Theater Hall at 2:30 / 1430. It's not a tough day but everything has to happen by the numbers and then there is always Murphy's Law to take into affect, knock on wood. Then this evening, my buddy Bill and I are headin' over to Schlesinger's for a couple of cigars and a few cool beverages. Hope to see a number of you there and for those that can not make it, enjoy one or two as well............ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
The java is brewing and filling the house up with that sweet smell of coffee. Everybody is sleeping and the house is quiet. The week is slowly winding down to its end. Hope everybody finishes off the week well with good plans for the weekend. Be safe out there. :thumbs:
 
Good morning all and TGIF. The coffee is on and waffles are for breakast today. I see that the tempature is starting to raise a bit, it's presently 14 degrees and today's high will be in the low 30s. I can't wait till the 24th when I fly down to Texas. At least I'll have 3 days of warmth and spring time can't get here quick enough. We're roughly 1 week from the annual Quad State Herf and I can't wait. Should be a great time with all the S/BOTL that are comin' and wth all the great sponsors that we have. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great time and smoke a few of your favorites this weekend......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning! 3? in lovely Lafayette, Indiana with a high of 22?. Loads of sunshine which always makes me feel so much better. The Caribbean Cut Throat is brewed and I'm almost ready to face another day.

A load of Killer Beans will be packed up and heading out for the Quad State Herf. Get ready Charlie, I don't think they make a mailbox big enough to hold the box I'll be sending!!! :laugh:

Hello Jerry, My mailbox is the Cornwall, NY Post Office for packages that are to big for my mailbox. They leave me a note to stop by and pick up the package everytime and just eyeball me as I smile leavin' their storage facility. Thanks brother and I know the lucky recipients of the "Killer Beans" are gonna be grateful as well.......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Happy Saturday morning all and yes, the coffee is on. I'm gonna knock on my brother-in-law's door around 9:00 and invite him and my niece up for breakfast this morning. Plannin' on the all American breakfast; eggs to order, country bacon from VA and homefries made from scratch with onions and a couple of pieces of garlic. Then later on, I got a little running around to do and hopefully end up at Schlesinger's for a cigar or two. This evening is the NASCAR kick off with the "Bud Shootout" which starts the 2007 season. I'd love to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the #8 win it and start the season off right. Good morning everyone and yes, the joe is a brewin'. Probably gonna make a batch of waffles this mornin' and invite the brother-in-law up since my wife Beth is down in Texas Still with my niece Dawn and her two kids Ryan and Josie. You know how it is, you can't make up batter for just one or two waffles and if I eat the whols batch of em, I'll become the fatman soon. Not only is the java up, but the good lady of the house is firing up some pancakes. The great Sunday morning smell of coffee, pancakes and family is beginning to fill the house. Looking forward to maybe walking around NYC with everybody today. Whatever your plans, have a great day. :thumbs:
 
Good morning all and here's to a new week. The coffee is on and I'm about ready to go to work as it's my week to open up the Operation Center and relieve the FOD of his duties. This will be a fun and busy week gettin' ready for the Quad State Herf and all. Packages will be coming in from all over as if it were Christmas. Good morning all and hope your Tuesday goes by as smoothly as possible. They are calling for anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of snow up here in Orange County and then freezing rain and sleet afterwards which will all start up this evening. We might get our 1st code red of the year or at least a code white. Code red: No Work, Code white: don't come in until a certain time prescribed. I just hate the frozen rain / sleet crap that follows the snow. Anyaway, I'll talk with you all later on once I get to work.
