Good Morning S / BOTL

Good morning fellas and Kelly it sounds like yours has been busier than hell. Today is day 3 of issuing equipment to the new Cadets here at West Point. All of them should have their basic issue to include foot and head wear by close of business today. I fitted 670+ Cadets yesterday with a cross trainer sneaker and that is only 1 of 8 different types of foot wear that each of them receive. A lot of them looked dogged out but we all let them know that it will be okay after a while when they finally get in a normal routine. Anyway, hope all of you have a super day and get to enjoy one nof your favorites....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

P.S. The coffee is definitely on!!!!!!!!
 
Well Stogie, since you're so busy, I think I'll do the neighborly thing and bring you up to date on recent events. The Red Sox have won 10 in a row and have opened up a 3 1/2 game lead over the Evil Empire. :thumbs: I am of course having a great morning. Good morning guys..... well the rain has finally stopped falling here at the moment. We got record rainfall and the Susquehanna & Chenango Rivers are flooding. People are being evacuated and Broome County is under a State of Emergency. All of the businesses are closed. Binghamton, Elmira, Owego, Vestal, Endicott, Endwell.... plus other are at a State of Emergency

Thank goodness I listened to my wife and didn't buy the original house we looked at... It is flooded and evacuated... too close to the river....

Oh well.... time for me to mop up the basement.... thank goodness there are drains in the floor

Tom, sump pump is the name of the game. Welcome to home ownership, well at least you don't have to water the lawn.
 
Good morning everyone and hope all is well. Tommy, I hope all is well with you and the rain stops soon. My sister-in-law emailed me last nightthat lives about an hour north of Roscoe and she says that they have a foot of water in their basement and the sump pump can't keep up. The road to their house has two mud slides and the fire dept has a waiting list now to suck the water out of their basement. She said that her ducks are loving it and crops will be fine after all the rain does finally stop. Try and stay dry and take a break now and then and smoke a ceegar if you can........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Tommy, I was concerned about you... Go figure, you move up there and they have the worst weather ever... Glad to hear you are semi-dry!

Good morning all and hope you all are doing good and everyone that is getting saturated from all this rain is trying to stay dry. I'm glad this weekend is here for some R & R, I wish all of you a safe and enjoyable 4th of July holiday....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Well, I havent been able to sleep all tonight. I cant take my meds since I have to head to the VA Hospital today and then a nice relaxing time at Outlaw will finish the day off. I have big plans for some cigars and a crazy one at that. It will be a day to remember thats for sure. :thumbs: But on a sad note, I found out late last night my Aunt passed away from brain cancer so it has kinda put a damper on things so hopefully the road trip and end goals will make things better.
 
Well good morning guys. Starting my day off in South Bend Indiana, after a quick overnight. Got in at 10 and back out at 7. Gonna end up back home in Louisville after four days on the road. Can't wait.

First Day of leave: Slept in til 7am :)

Started with a nice walk through the neighborhood with the Mrs. and our canine dependents....started the coffee pot before we stepped out.

Coffee was ready when we got back, filled up my 20oz travel mug, lit a stick and jumped in the hot tub..... :p

The next two weeks will be verrrrry niiiiice. :thumbs:

Good morning all and happy Monday. I hope your weekend was a good one and for you all that have off today as well, enjoy. I was gonna take off today as they were offering liberal leave to those that wanted the day off but I have a few things to get done in the office and with the military on a training holiday and half off the civilian force off, it should be a nice a quiet day. I'm gonna probably stop at the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall to you Army guys) and have a hearty breakfast and then BBQ this evening. Wish all of you a safe 4th and smoke one of your favorites....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

We'll it's not "morning" but I'm sitting here with a brewski and smokin' a 5 Vegas 'A' Apostle.....very nice. I even enjoyed a few moments relaxin' in the pool today. :)
 
Morning fellow BOTL. Just finished a breakfast short story while sipping some Folgers and going over the days events with the boss.
