I can't believe that I've been here a little over two years and have never opened up this thread. I wondered how someone gets to having 12,000+ posts. I guess this thread answers that. Maybe I'll have to start chipping in every once in a while. Either way this is getting added to my watched threads.
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Yes Ken, the "Good Morning" post helps out :D . Well, the Yankees won again last night and the Red Sox lost, so the Bombers are now 2 1/2 games ahead in first place again. Today, the Yankees vs. Brewers game is at 1305 (1:05 pm) and hopefully the word sweep comes up after it's all over. Today being Thursday, we'll be heading over to Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar for a couple of primo sticks and seeing how the local S/BOTL are doing. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for some time now. Well, the word "sweep" did come up yesterday as the Yankees won again 5 - 0 over the Brewers. This weekend the Bombers will be taking on the Mets down in Citi Field (Flushing, NY) with tonight's game starting at 1910 (7:10pm). Also this weekend, the NASCAR drivers will be speeding around Daytona racetrack with the Nationwide Series race this evening at 1930 (7:30pm) and the Sprint Cup Series tomorrow evening. Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable 4th of July weekend. T.G.I.F.........
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, the Yankees won the first on 5 - 1 which was actually a lot closer than the score shows. These two teams will be back at today at 1610 (4:10pm) and hopefully we get to see another good one. Also, a big congrats to Joey Logano for winning last night's race down in Daytona which ended up in a huge crash:

Good morning all and yes, the Sunday morning coffee is on. Well, it was nice to see the Yankees win again yesterday 5 - 2 and hopefully the keep it up as today's first pitch will be thrown at 1310 (1:10pm). Also, congrats to David Ragan for winning last night's NASCAR race down in Daytona. It was his first career win and what a place to have it. Anyway, I hope everyone has a super Sunday and enjoys........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees lost the lead in the bottom of the 9th and lost the game 3 - 2. They'll be taking on the Indians in Cleveland this evening with the first pitch being thrown at 1835 (6:35pm). I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable 4th of July and to remember what it's all about. Happy B-Day America and thank you to all the proud soldiers, sailors and airmen that keep this country free for us........

Morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0430 as usual. Well, the Yankees came back and beat the Indians 9 - 2 as Derek Jeter got 2 more hits and is only short by 4 to get to 3000. These two teams will meet again this evening with the first pitch thrown at 1905 (7:05pm). Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy "Hump Day" and enjoys a favorite or two or....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

The Bombers now have the Tampa Bay Rays in town for a 4 game series with the fist this evening. First pitch being thrown at 1905 (7:05pm). Today being Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars enjoying primo stogies and catching the game. I hope everyone has a good day and enjoys it as well.......

The NASCAR racers are in Kentucky this weekend with night racing tonight and tomorrow evening. Good morning all and yes, the Saturday morning special blend is brewin'. Well, the Yankees game got rained out last night so Jeter will have to go after his 2999th & 3000th hit this evening. Congrats to Brad Keselowski for winning last night's NASCAR race (Nationwide Series) and they'll (Sprint Cup Series) be back it this evening as well. A Yankees fan from Highland Mills, NY (roughly 15 miles from West Point) caught Jeter's 3000th hit which was a home run to left field and returned it to it's rightful owner right away:

Congrats to both of you. From a Sox fan to Yankee fans it must have been great to be there for that game. Despite the sox/Yankee rivalry I do like jeter and am happy to say I sat down yesterday and watched him continue to swing his way into history. He's is such a great player and his name will ring on for a real long time. Also he is only the 2nd player in history to hit a homer for his 3000. And in short good luck during the second part of the season.
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0400 and it's the All-Star break. The Yankees finished off their 1st half with C.C. Sabathia pitching the entire game and shutting out Tampa 1 - 0 giving the big man his league leading 13th win. Tonight we have the Home Run Derby followed up tomorrow evening with the All-Star game live on FOX. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a few of your favorites throughout it. As a side note, we are less than 6 weeks away from the Quad State Herf VI - Wounded Warrior Event. If you're attending, please send in your payment so that's one less thing you have to worry about....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning all and yes, the joe has been brewing since 0400 again. Well, the National League won last night 5 - 1 in the 2011 MLB All-Star game. The Yankees are off tonight and will be taking on the Blue Jays in Toronto tomorrow evening. Weather wise, the Northeast finally has a break and the hot and humid days are gone for at least the next 7 days:

Hopefully the Jays can give 'em a run for their money. A family friend of mine was a pitcher for the Jays back in the 90's and early 00's (Pat Hentgen). He's now their bullpen coach. Yankee fans may be familiar with him because he beat out Andy Pettitte for the 1996 AL Cy Young Award.

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0430. Well, the first game back for the Yankees was not that good as they lost 17 - 6, hopefully they can turn that around this evening. The NASCAR racers are in New Hampshire this weekend and it looks to be great weather for them as well.
