Good morning all and yes, the joe has been brewing for almost an hour now. Well, the Yankee definitely earned their nickname of the "Bronx Bombers" last night as they crushed the Orioles 13 - 2. This weekend, the Yanks take on the Mets at home which is always a New York favorite. We had a good time last night smokin' and jokin' at Schlesinger's and with the weather getting nicer, we are finally able to hang outside. Tomorrow is Graduation Day here at West Point and we have an early, early day as my boss will be picking me up at 0430 and we'll go hot in the Emergency Operation Center at 0500. Should be hot and heavy for the first few hours and then calm down by 0900 when most of the guest should heading to the stadium for the ceremony: http://www.usma.edu/

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso coffee is hittin' the spot. Well, yesterday's Graduation at West Point is now complete and congrats to the 1000+ new 2nd Lieutenants that have joined the ranks of the U.S. Army. It was nice to see that the Yankees bounced back and beat the Mets 7 - 3 and today we have the rubber game of the Subway Series at 1305 (1:05pm). I didn't get to see the NASCAR All-Star race last night but I did DVR it, so I'll watch er' later on. I hope everyone has a happy Sunday and enjoys....... :thumbs:

Yesterday was actually another nice weather day as Beth and I got some outside choirs done and then relaxed with her brother Mike and our friend Chris over. It was good to hear the Yankees had 8 runs in the 7th inning to beat the Mets 9 - 3 and take the series 2 games to 1. The Bombers are off today and will be in Seattle for the weekend taking on the Mariners. Morning all, it's Memorial Day and the coffee is on. Remember our soldiers, sailors and airmen today and the sacrifices they have given so we have our freedom. Today, I have the honor and privilege to facilitate the Memorial Day Wreath laying ceremony at West Point. The West Point Band, 21 cannon (75mm howitzers) salute, and the West Point community in observance. The guest speaker is the Garrison Commander, COL Michael Tarsa, and I'm sure that after his speech, there won't be a dry eye in the crowd. Well, it was good to see the Yankees bounce back with a big win yesterday as they beat the Mariners 7 - 1. Also, a big congrats to Kevin Harvick in the #29 Budweiser Chevrolet for winning yesterday's NASCAR Coca Cola 600. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was leading the last lap as he ran out of fuel with less than a half mile to go, son close:

Hopefully they bounce back and even up the series a game a piece. Beth and I are going to enjoy a stay-cation and do some local stuff that we've wanted to do for a while plus it's always nice to sleep in your own bed at the end of the day.
